Score 8.0/10+ The LCD set is very stylish. The discreet light blue looks better than the red on the 6 Series which put us off the 6 series. The picture quality is great if you are sitting away from the screen. Close up has lots of distortion as per all LCD's. Navigating the remote menu is easy as is altering the sound type to suit to program (movie, sports, music, etc) Unfortunately we don't have HD to really test the picture quality althought the picture quality on a DVD movie is fab. The surround sound is very good and the change is noticable when switching between different types, ie, sports, movie, etc.

Probably a little costly at the moment. A smaller screen size could be more suitable for some, at the moment it only comes in 40 and 46 inch. We probably would have liked a 37inch but with all the features of the 40inch.
I scored an 8 for picture quality which is probably unfair but I haven't used a HD feed/application such as Sky HD or Blu Ray. Only using digital signal through a standard sky box. Haven't used it for gaming but apparently it is amazing. Hoping to purchase a PS3 after Xmas to play Blu ray and use for gaming.

Score 8.0/10+ Picture quality is very, very good. In particular the LED backlighting makes the colours very rich and the blacks astonishingly deep. Slightly washed out colours and blacks when viewed off axis but then that is typical of any LCD TV and this is certainly one of the better ones in that respect. I would say this TV is at the very top of the current LCD models available from all makes. The design and style of this TV is excellent. The blue tinted perspex frame is solid and looks very classy.
- The sound does not do the picture much justice but don't let that put you off. After all this is a very slim TV and you can't expect any speaker of that size to give a great performance. Like me anyone buying this TV will have surround sound anyways or they should have it high on their list, and this TV certainly deserves it.

Score 8.0/10+ Great picture, good sound and good connectivity.
-
Frame scratches very very easily, - I scratched it with the cuff of my shirt, and this spread when I tried to polish it out with the supplied cloth.
The source button on the remote is extremely annoying. You have one button and can only cycle through the sockets in one direction, the order is Scart 1, Scart 2, Component, VGA, HDMI1, 2, 3 and 4. You cannot disable these even if you are not using Scart so if you want to go to HDMI2 you have to push the button six times.
Annoyingly the TV defaults to the analogue tuner and not the digital one.

Score 10.0/10+ Design and picture quality is fantastic. I watched King Kong (just on DVD) and it was out of this world. I'm getting a Blu-ray player next to take this LCD TV to the max !

Score 9.0/10+ Excellent clarity and sharpness, when viewing Blue Ray and HDTV almost a 3-D affect, good blacks, good reduction of motion "drag" when HD is viewed. Like most TV's the sound is not good, but in fact, I like that. I will rather buy my own "sound".
- Sometimes the colour seems oversaturated. I also don't like th cumbersome way of scrolling to another input source, surely the remote could have been designed to be more user friendly in this respect.

Score 8.0/10+ Good picture using Virgin V+ box.
- Sound quality a bit flat, could do with a sub-woofer to improve bass.

Score 8.0/10+ absolutely fantastic picture quality due to the massive contrast ratio you get with this TV. looks good. easy to navigate menus. start up was so simple with the auto scan picking up all freeview channels quickly.
- can be a bit slow scrolling through the freeview menu; unnecessary long-winded way of changing sources (DTR / Component / HDMI etc.); occasional picture distortion but seems fine when playing DVD so this is probably TV reception; sound is ok but would definitely recommend a home cinema system to match the fantastic picture quality of this TV.
