+ Looks

- Sound quality is quite poor especially background music. Forr a 100hz I thought it would be better than it is when you watch football, a bit blurry.

+ Beautiful to look at, not as heavy as it looks so easy to move, easy automatic tuning on set up, lovely picture, easy to use remote & clear on screen menus.

- Manual full of techno babble, ancronyms etc with no explanation of what they mean, so where options for initial set up and settings are available, not clear which would be best.

+ Great design, easy to use and set up. Picture quality is great in my opinion, however I'm not an AV guru!

- Sound could be a little louder i.e. you have to turn it up a long way to get a decent volume, but is of good quality.

+ Looks great, performs great, cutting edge visual and audio technology....if you are looking for a good quality television look no further than the series 6 samsung. Has anynet feature, picture in picture format, several different audio options....would really recommend it.

- The only bad point was that when I got the tv, the wall mounting holes at the back werent threaded so I had to do that myself....obviously a mistake.....apart from that its been great.

- Sound is this televisons downfall but linked to a surround sound system this Iradicates that.Needs to be adjusted in the Picture Menu to get full effect .

+ Great TV. Has all the features of TVs hundreds of pounds more expensive. It looks stylish, the red frame is a nice touch, hardly noticable, but makes a nice change from the plain black. Most adverts seem to enhance it too much. Freeview picture is better than my stand-a-lone freeview tuner boxes, it is a good picture for normal viewing (when viewed from at least 5 feet away). When viewed on a PS3 using the HDMI connections it is amazing - excellent sharp images and game playing is now a joy. Haven't noticed any blurred motion issues from films or games.

- Only minor points are the sound - it is a bit flat. Watching movies seems to be a bit lacking in any oomph - however this may be to do with PS3 playback or from the tv settings not being quite set up correctly.
Another minor point is the freeview tuner feature has no now and next setting - when you change channel no information is displayed on what you are viewing - a basic feature found on other freeview equipment - to be honest I can live without it.

If the original broadcast quality is poor, the TV will show a poor picture, this isn't the fault of the TV, it is the picture quality which is transmitted.

- audio lacks depth (although not bad enough for me to worry too much about it)
No way to map the input sources to channel numbers, so you can't set a seperate channel for your PS3, Sat Reciever, Video Recorder etc.. In each case you have to resort to cycling through the available input sources with the remote (really annoying!)

+ having looked at a lot of LCDs and plasma televisions I was concerend with motion blur and pixel distortion, the SAMSUNG LE37A656A LCD was by far the best quaility picture without having to pay obscene amounts of money. The fact its a good looking television is just an added bounce!

- It can make movies look like american sit coms, that just being pernickety.

+ picture and sound are good with plenty of fetures to adjust to get the image just the way you like it, it looks good and is easy to set up. picture in SD is very good as well as HD.

- only one i can think of is the switching between sources is a little bit long winded if you dont just want to scroll through the whole list.

+ Looks great - fantastic contemporary design. Picture quality is brilliant. The connectivity was perfect for my needs eg PS3, DVD/Amp, Surround sound, sky box.

- Well, the sound quality on Samsung models always seems to be a point of contention. For me, when using PS3 or watching movies it's through my surround sound system, so this becomes a moot point. When watching tv though, for my front room, the sound through the TV itself is very good, no complaints.

- The only thing on down side is the on board speakers these are just adequate, if you use a surround sound system it’s not a problem.

+ Stylish design, Rose black colour cordinates wellm with similar colour scheme. Whilst others have found the sound to be below par this is not something I have found - depends on what standard you are using to compare!
Great picture (because of upscaling) even in anologue TV. Excellent for games using a PSP and of course blu ray discs.
Plenty of ports for connectiong other equipment, particularily useful having a USB commection for a flash drive.

- Base could perhaps not be so chunky and the base does attract dust but of course these are minor issues.

+ This is a beautifully designed television, with a really clear and crisp picture. very easy to set up There are also lots of extras, the one I like most is the ability to plug in your external hard drive via usb link and watch your pictures as a slide show whilst listening to your music.

- The sound could be better, we will have to buy a home cinema system to get the sound that I want.

+ Stunning picture when watching Blu-ray or HD signals, Does a very good job with SD signal but this varies through different channels (but that of course is signal source and not the screens fault). Connectivity is fantastic with more options then most people will ever use.

- On board sound is not up to much, so seperate surround sound etc would be recomended.

+ Superb quality, look and features. Not another TV out there i'd have over it.

- Menus are a touch slow and channel hopping isn't as intuitive as my Sony Freeview box I just replaced with this TV. Otherwise nothing.

The stand is made of glass which is heavy and of good quality and the 5.1 cinema system sounds excellent.

Showing your Jpg pictures on a 37" screen via the usb2 socket is WOW.

- Takes SO LONG to change from scart, HDMI 1, 2, 3 or 4. The 'source' button is rubbish.
My friend (different make of TV) presses a button on remote, panel shows on screen all connections straight away. AND BOY doesn't it attract dust.

- Difficult to fault. The only niggle is that to turn it on, you touch the red power led. then when it is on, the led goes out and it is difficult to see where the off touch control is.

+ Excellent picture quality in standard mode which is totally adjustable, also has sports, movie and gaming preset modes which are not adjustable. Great styling with its deep red almost black glossy finish.

- Sound could have a little bit more bass but that is only my personal preference. Also does tend to get very dusty due to the glossy surface not being as forgiving as some matt ones.

+ Great design - being black with hint of red matches our kitchen perfectly.Excellent picture especially in 1080 HD mode via my FREESAT HD box.

- The screen surround is very delicate. It is very easy to scratch, even with the softest of clothes.

- As with ALL digital television sets, a home cinema system is required to get the best audio experience.

+ Excellent picture. Configuration / set up procedure very easy. Good 'Freeview' guide system. A very high-quality product at a very reasonable price.

- Sound quality acceptable given the quality and size of the built-in speakers and I'm happy with it for my normal TV viewing; but if you're after theatre sound you'll need 5.1 or 7.1 speaker system.

+ Fantastic looks and picture quality. Ease of use. Touch sensitive switches on TV are neat. No annoying blue light on the standby switch many TVs, bluerays DVD players/amps etc have when they are on.Great for gaming (PS3).

- For best sound need a seperate amp and speaker system (true of most TVs though I believe.
No on/off switch on TV itself....has to be left in standby....thought we were meant to be reducing our carbon footprint and all that by not leaving appliances on standby. The option would be nice.

- Not top of the leaque when displaying SD content from a Sky+ digi box but LCD panels will not handle SD content as well as a CRT screen. I would rate the image from Sky over RGB scart as 7/10.
