Samsung LE32B450 Reviews: Series 4, 32" Screen LCD HD Ready TV

+ Lovely design. The Image quality is very good. I have connected to my computer for playing games and doing my multimedia work and it has been excellent. Sound quality will be better with independant speakers. Overall for the design, quality and the price its 10/10

- because the freeview is built in to record somenthing on freeview you have to have the tv turned on and on the channel you are recording,which defeats the object.No light on remote highlighting channel buttons for use when the lights are off

- Great image through HDMI but normal Sky TV is rubish through an AVI but if you changhe the setting to RBG rather than PAL its much better. Sound needs to be tweeked to sound OK

Very Easy to set up and get working

- Only a slight problem trying to get the television working on the one Sky controller, it switches on ok most times but have problems when I want to change channels have to use the tv controller to switch off then the Sky controller to put to menu then turn the tv on again and select channel.

+ Only had this TV for about a week, but really can't fault it - especially the setting up part. It was so simple - literally a couple of minutes - and I am really no expert.

- Took me a while to find out how to switch from analogue to digital. Previous model had a button on remote (used for items that use rf amplifiers and alternative channels) This model uses the zero but could not find it in the instructions.

- when you turn it on or off it makes a loud musical sound and there doesn't seem to be anyway to disable this so the whole house hears when the telly gets turned off.not brilliant late at night! Other than that really pleased with it.

- television was for an elderly person and they find it difficult to return to digital when it somehow it switches to analogue

- had to get engine out to TV as it kep loosing connection to digital channels. hopefully this is now ok as engineer visited and checked etc

+ we are using this as a wall mounted television .no humming which was problem with our last tellly.Run digital box with hardrive and dvd player. through this telly. With digi box can record 2 programmes and watch previously recorded programme.

- has took a while to sort out procedures for using dvd player and digital box with harddrive through this television.

- Took a while to get the picture "just right" with the colours, that I prefer. With regard to the TV listings, whilst this is easy to use, one can only move up or down one channel at a time. On previous TV, and Freeview+ box one can view a page of TV channel listings (maybe 8), then by hitting the Prog Up, or Prog Down button, this would "flip" the page, so a further 8 pages can be seen (earlier or later). With this unit, one can only move up or down one channel at a time, to view the listings.

+ Excellent TV and great value for money.

- The only downside is you have to press a button to show the program info once you are on the channel, our old freeveiw box automatically displayed this as you flicked though so you knew which program yuo were viewing. Oh and it makes a really annoying sing song noise when it is switched on and off!
