+ very simple to install and set up. excellent picture quality, particularly in H.D. Sound quality surprising good, i.e crystal clear and loud enough even with a room full of noisy people.

- The Full Guide is not good.You have to scroll down one program at a time.You cant scroll page by page and this makes it time consuming and annoying.

+ really nice looking tv, great value for money but definatly shop around because i found i saved nearly £100! Have 3 in the house, so you can tell i love samsungs and bril customer service!!!
It took me a week of hard research to make sure i got the right one for a bril price but i got it!!

- samsung tvs sound quality is more airey fairy compared to other makes but i wouldnt call it a bad point jst a comprimise.

+ The design I liked and was not disappointed when assembled, all the new features on this model I cannot find fault with. Picture quality is excellent also the sound. I am very pleased with the product and am glad to have made my purchase.

- This product I was unable to set up but I must add I only had to contact Dixons support to assist me. I was doubting my own ability but the the tech support had to try three different approaches before he resolved the problem, this took a 30 min.phone call approx. Generally I think the instructions are poor, illustrations very difficult to see, type far too small.I consider myself practical and intelligent enough to assemble and setup a modern tv but alas I failed.

+ Apart from the user manual which was not very intuitive to use. It could do with a flow diagram to make it easier to see where you are in the various set- up procedures. I am todate very pleased with the TV.

+ Great looking T.V, fantastic picture quality, great sound. Nice slim design, far better than the big heavy one we had before.

- The only " bad "point I've got is, that the T.V does not have an on and off switch. It is on permanent standby. The T.V is in our bedroom, and the red light on the front of the T.V is not very bright, so it does not disturb you. If you wanted to turn the T.V off, you have to unplug it.

- If you switch the TV off at the power point you lose your date and time settings and you have to reset them before you can use the Freeview menu.

+ 1) Superb picture - particularly when viewing animated movies (Pixar) etc from an HD source or upscaled DVD.
2) Looks like an attractive piece of furniture in the room.

- 1) Sound is not as strong as the picture but then for that price, you have to accept a compromise somewhere. However the sound is markedly improved by switching on the quasi surround sound mode.
2) Does not automatically flick over to the HDMI source when you turn on the DVD player - my other TVs do do this.
