Samsung LE22B450 Reviews: Series 5, 22" Screen LCD HD Ready TV

+ Very good sound, good image quality. Not too fiddly, looks just right in a white room.

- Bit of a pain to re-search for channels if the freeview doesn't pick them all up in the first instance. Nowhere could I find that the code was 0000.

+ Good appearance

- Poor, tinny sound and can't page ndown in Digital Guide so takes forever to se th programmes on show

+ A nice looking tv especially in white. good size easy to use remote and nice features

+ Beautiful, crisp, sharp picture through freeview. Bought as a TV for the bedroom and it is perfect size. Very nice finish on the TV with the black gloss. Sound is as good as I would need it to be for a bedroom TV.

- Viewing angles are not good and darkens dramatically when off centre. We initially had the TV on a chest of drawers which was slightly above our viewing position in bed and we had lower it to eye level as the picture has faded so much. The TV does not tilt foward on its stand which wouls solve this problem. The gloss finish will collect dust easily but that is more my fault than a fault of the TV ;)

+ Ease of use, ease of set up, picture quality is great, no faults i can really think of apart from the sound being just a little quiet, but it's no big deal at all.

+ Bought it for the bedroom and is adequate for its purpose considering the exceptional low price.
Colurs are vivid and sound ok after you tweek the settings i.e. use the equaliser to increase the base and reduce the treble.
Easy to tune in and as I live in a fringe area for freeview it pulls in a good signal and picks up all channels.

- Picture quality not the best but more than adequate for bedroo/kitchen location.
Sound needs adjusting along with picture settings, this is a personal thing

+ Ergonomics of the design. Pleasing to the eye.

- Earphone socket is to the rear. Useless if wall mounted.
Sound quality of internal speakers is poor.

+ Worth the additional cost over the 19" alternative for improved sound quality alone. Set up is straightforward.

- IMHO the switching between inputs should be easier but its not a task for mastermind.
