+ Overall great picture and good value for money- would recommend

Portable Arial tends to drop signal during bad weather, need to connect to permanent Arial. Would say this would be the same for any TV

- Picture out of the box is a bit poor so does need a little adjustment.

love the sound when you switch it on and off :-)

- Due to shape of TV there is little bass you would get with a CRT model which uses the size and shape of the case to generate bass. It takes a bit of getting used to from the old CRT it replaces. Though the sound is clear and unobtrusive. Connect it to a surround sound system and it rocks.
Gets very dusty quickly due to shiny black static plastic of the case.

- As to be expected, the sound quality is adequate, but it would be hard to better it considering the size and space available due to the inherent slimness. Decent sound requires decent cabinet size/volume. You can't have both, so one has to be sacrificed. A small price to pay I think.

+ This is a great little TV. The Samsung quality shines through. The size is perfect for a bedroom and the sound quality is very good, not tinny like some small TVs.
This is the second TV of this make and model I have bought for my family.

Its not a criticism, just odd that the digital and analogue tuner setups are entirely separate which made me think initially that I had been sent a model withour Freeview.

- Close up the picture looks 'blocky', thought this is more a general problem with LCD tvs. The blue light problem still occurs, even with turning off the light in the options menu - a slight glow persists (though not enough to annoy!).

+ The design is sleek and modern and i am very pleased with it, it shows whats on each channel and although some have said the remote is difficult to use i think it is sensible and everything is where you expect it to be.

- There is nowhere to turn it off, its always on stand by and takes a little time to load up and shut down but none of thes would have put me off buying it as they are really only minor little issues, put them against the look and the quality of the product, No contest.

+ Fantastic design, it comes in white too! This tv is perfect for gamers, as it has the special gaming screen option, which brightens the picture and responds faster than normal. On the remote- buttons even light up at the touch of a 'low glow' button, which means no more nightly annoyances with not finding the right buttons. OVERALL, IT'S FANTASTIC. Do buy one, you won't regret it.

- ONE bad point is that close up, the picture is very grainy and unclear, but this is only when you are standing immediatly beside the tv. It is really nothing, and most people will have the tv placed far enough away from where they are watching anyway.
