+ Product looks great. Price was fair. Good selection of in/output/HDMI/DVI sockets, there's a few that I'll need to research to find out their purpose. Like the way that the screen can be utilised as a PC monitor.
In comparison to my old TV the viewing is satisfactory. PS3 through the TV is great, the picture is crisp and clear, very satisfactory. I recently discovered that picture mode on the controller gives you a better viewing e.g. Standard and Moive mode. Picks up all digital TV rogrammes that my old TV does and more Radio channels with a good Aerial. I read a review that claimed the TV would loose all the channels when unplugged, well the TV can save the channels which is good, jsut follow the instructions for storing channels.
A good product for my budget.

- Positioning of the stand at the base of the TV wasn't as easy as I'd liked it to have been. I thought the stand would have manoeuvred more easily, instead it was stiff and I had to apply a bit of force to position the stand.

+ Neat design. Pretty good picture quality.

- No on/off button - set is permanently on standby unless you turn it off at the mains. When you take the TV out of the packaging the stand is already attached. It is not at all obvious how one is supposed to turn the stand through 90 degrees so the TV can be placed on it. The set has a hidden button you should press in order to turn the stand from its wall mounting position to its table top position. Failure to press this button could lead to breaking the TV before you even switch it on! Eventually I found instructions on how to do this buried deep in the manual. I would recommend that the manufacturers insert a "Getting Started" page at the begining of the manual and point No.1 should be to tell the consumer how to reposition the stand so that you can place the set on a flat surface. A sticker attached to the back of the TV set giving this info mght also be a good idea.

It has great design features which include a blue glow at the bottom, as well as touch-screen on/off buttons, volume and channels. Looks much better on my bedroom wall than the lumpy box used to have on a bracket!

+ this is a really good looking tv, the picture is excellent with great crisp colours, and the viewing angles are also good. I like the now and next guide, its not as quick as using sky's tv guide but it has a similar setup, you can still watch tv in a small window while navigating the tv guide. Like sky's guide you can highlight shows you want to watch later so the tv will switch over at the right time, you also get a program progress bar that shows how much of the program is remaining, just remember to press the DTV button to switch from anologue to digital tv or you wont find freeview channels if you switch off the tv in digital it comes back on in digital though so you will probably only ever use this button once.by the way the digital tv tuner is very good i found more channels than were available on my old seperate freeview box,

They are easy to set up and tune in with the inbuilt digital box, they were also simple to hook up game consels and computers. The picture quality is fantastic. The design is very slick and fits in with most rooms. They were just what we were looking for.

- Power cable is a bit short. This TV comes with either a table top stand or a tilting wall bracket. All of ours were fitted in corners which meant purchasing extra fittings which are very expensive.

+ We have the 32 inch version of this TV and liked it enough to order the smaller 19" version for the bedroom. Picture and sound quality are great, probably the best you can get at this price. It looks really smart and has a useful feature on the remote where you can press a highlighted button to illuminate the most used buttons, ideal when watching TV in the dark!

- Two areas that could be improved are 1) Unlike the 32" version the remote is very busy and buttons are quite small - not good if you have problems with your sight. 2) There is a time delay of a couple of seconds from pressing a button to anything happening - so sometimes you change channel twice because you think it hasn't worked properly. This is the same on the bigger telly and didn't put us off buying this one but you do need to get used to it. However I would still recommend this TV and would buy another if needed as the value for money out-weighs these small downsides.

+ brilliant picture, all the connections you could hope for, samsung's 'game mode' for consoles is brilliant, also there are two mounting points for wall mounting, you can hang it off the back of the tv, but also off the base of the stand.

- the freeview menu sometimes gets a little slow, and the sound isn't great, but i knew this when buying and plugged it into my jbl spots getting better sound than you could ever hope from a tv.

+ Easy to set up, with good picture for a screen of this size.

- Sound quality is reasonable rather than good. Some fast moving images such as sport are not as clear as the larger Samsung models.
