+ User Friendly

- Camera could have a higher pixel rate

- can only hold 200 messages where my other phone - sony ericsson can hold nearly 2000 which i need , didnt have a very good picture either and i couldnt store some pictures because they were too good quality for the phone to handle

- The web browser central button - keep pressing by mistake and going into the browser. On most other phones this key is to confirm things.

+ Nice looking, easy to use, battery lasts ages and I like the larger text and numbers. Really good sound to radio etc.

- Would have liked a choice of ringtones!

- a bit long winded when sending texts far too many screens - my previous Samsung was two oks and gone this is at least five despite the shortcuts and the battery lasts nowhere near as long

+ The phone is very easy to use. The menus are clear and easy to navigate. The screen is quite large and text is easy to read.

- The USB connection with the supplied software does not work on one of my computers although I can access the SD card as a removable disk therefore I can add and remove music, video and images OK so it's not a big problem. I use the Music player a lot and find that having to create Playlists is annoying also there are only 4 Playlists available. I cannot play "continuous" album tracks direct from the SD Card.

+ small, music sounds good, looks good, battery life isnt too bad.

- when i try to use the camera the phone shuts down and comes back on, it also takes too long to take the photograph. there is no flash. there is no actually silent, there is only one mute sttin but it still beeps when you get a missed call and vibrates when you send a text.

- If you are used to speed texting you can find that alot of words end up spelt wrong as the phone is slower to add the letters than what iam used to.

+ Very comfortable to use and good to look at with ease of use

- As a novice user (over 50) I personally find it hard to set up for my personal use. I guess one of the kids will help me!

- I find it very difficult to connect with other blue tooth users. Because it requires a pin number that i dont know

+ I bought this pink J700 for my wife and was so impressed by it I bought a black one. Whilst we are still finding our way round the phone, I think I can safely say that this is the best mobile we have had. Great screen, navigation easy, looks good etc. For the price, and what comes with it, the J700 will take some beating. Nice one Samsung!!!!

- The only negative point, for me, is the location of the volume control which can be easily caught when using the phone and causes the person at the other end to loose your conversation. Just requires a spot of retraining myself on how to hold a mobile.

- taking the back cover off to input the battery was very very difficult. You get charge if you press the WNW button even if you select no to go on.

+ Lots of cool features, looks good, long battery life, good value for money.

- There isn't a lot of memory, quality of pictures and movies are very poor. Not satisfied at all really.

+ Bought this for my eleven year old daughter. Great phone, easy to use, keeps it's charge no problem. She loves the photo/video options and there's loads of internal memory to store them.

- Too small memory without having to buy memory card. Camera not very easy ot use and quality not too good.

- key pad is very hard the keys are not easy to use and have a horrible surface to them
ring tones are terrible

+ can be closed down so as the keypad does not get touched when not in use. it is also compact and lightweight so can be put in even my smallest bag.

- the keypad does not light up when being used for text messages so when you are using it in the dark you cant really see what you are doing. It is also difficult to text on as the pad is smoothe you cant differentiate different keys

+ Looks stylish and very girly. Easy to use, even the the over 60's. I have one (aged 30 something) and bought one for my mum (the big 60).

- Camera is very hit and miss. Pictures are very blurry, you have to have a very very steady hand to get even a half recognisable picture out of it.

+ Handy enough to fit comfortably in your pocket.
Bluetooth - one of the main reasons I chose it (handsfree driving).
Good battery life - the other main reason I chose it.

- For someone who wants a 'jargon/gadget-free' phone there's too much on it, to me a phone is for making phone calls - I have cameras for taking pictures, and computers for the internet.

- stopped texting to be forwarded to certain phones. no volume on to quite cant hear it ringing when in bag.

+ most of my family now have this phone as it has good features but even a muppet like my mother can figure out how to txt with it. the pc suit that comes with it is a good bit of software and much easier to use than any iv used before. the camera isnt great but if you take 5 minets to check the settings and know what your doing (read the book) the camera is very good considering its pixle size. plus the phone looks good.

- the key pad is a little tricky for men with big hands but after a few days and some thumb yoga it works just fine.

+ overall its a great phone bought for my mum and she is not the best with what she calls hi tec gadgets but this was very easy to use and she is now listening to music on it and texting all the time.

+ This phone I would say is good for a first phone for young teenager, I bought the pink one for my Daughter (age10), just one of her little fads but it does the trick.

- The worst point is the camera/video, haven't been able to take a picture if focus yet. Very poor quality. The part on the back of the phone that you remove to put the battery in is also very flimsy and you have to be quite careful not to break it.
