Samsung J1453sg reviews: Front Loading loading, 6kg capacity washing machine

+ Nice machine, lots of space in the drum for bigger loads, pretty quick too. Clothes come out smelling really fresh which is great, you can tell they have had a good wash. Quickwash is handy too. High energy efficiency rating which makes me feel warm about not killing the planet.

- Still too small to do a double duvet. The digital timer is great, but is not accurate - cycles can take less/more time than it actually says which is odd, but not that bothersome.

- Spein is not enough. It's the same spin speed as my old machine but leaves the clothes much wetter. I now do another spin on it's own after the wash has finished. Makes a big difference.

+ Quick wash cycle time is good. The electronic countdown display showing how long the wash cycle has to run is really useful. A nice looking and efficient machine.

+ iwhat i like about the machine is the fact that it switches its self of saving on electric if the machine is left idle after the cycle has finished,also having a handwash cycle is very convenient not forgetting that the machine automatically determines the size of the load eg,half load,fulll load.

+ This machine has a massive drum at 7kg and several different wash cycles including wool, quick wash and hand wash. There is a timer to indicate how long the wash will take and a child lock to stop any toddlers from changing your wash settings. A little tune plays when your load is done and it looks very modern in silver too.

- Its abit noisy if its not level, and tyring to level it with the feet is some fete in itself as the machine is very heavy!

- Tends to be a bit on the noisy side when spinning. When clothes are spun on a quick cycle (even though you pre-select 1400rpm) they are still rather wet.

+ As you can see I rate it very highly, so far we havn't found any bad points at all. One quible if I really wanted to find one would be the tiny filter, its so small I doubt if it does any good at all !!

+ Quiet machine which does a great job of washing clothes - we have a 1 year old son so you can imagine the stains it has to get out!! Many cycles to choose from including the temperature you want and spin speed. There is a useful countdown so you know how long there is left and it plays a tune to let you know it's finished. It also automatically switches itself off when finished, saving power. Great machine, would recommend it to anyone.

- Cycles are quite long - 2 hours for a normal wash. Even a quick wash is over 30 minutes. However, these bad points don't detract from the quality of the machine.
