Samsung i8000 Omnia II Candy Bar Touchscreen 3G mobile phone handset reviews and tariffs

+ Samsung has done a good job with trying to make the menus clear, and the software i.e microsoft office mobile are great features.
The screen is amazing, picture quality couldn't be better, the backlight creates sharp, clear images, and even if windows 6.5 only has 65k colours, the sharpness is flawless. This amoled technology would be amazing with a google android operating system.

- It's a Windows 6.5 phone!
The responsiveness is sluggish, the software is brilliant but being able to use it would be nice.
When sending a text message it can sometimes take about 20 seconds for the phone to realise its in landscape mode for the larger onscreen keyboard. Things like this make it very irritating to use.

- I do not like the Samsung software and have reverted to Windows standard
I cannot disable the volume button and it is easily knocked
The phone interface is not as good as with the HTC 3600 I used previously

- delay of three seconds when phone rings ( very low volume) then its fine but you could have missed the call. a notification sound every time you send a message and you can't turn it off.

+ good looking all round

- some times it freezes on programes

+ Easy to use

- Hard to send txt messages,doesn't reconise command an hard to get contacts on it.
