+ I bought this Camera as a Christmas gift for my daughter. The camera itself feels good to hold and is well put together. The lcd screen gives a crisp and bright image and all the buttons and knobs have a quality feel about them. The camera came with the usb cable needed to conect to a PC and transferring the pics she had taken was a piece of cake. Battery life between charges is excellent and charging times are very low. Overall a great little camera, no complaints from me.

- Would have been nice if you had gotten a free sd card and case.

There are 2 main types of camera: The SLR and the Compact. SLR stands for Single Lens Reflex. SLR cameras use a prism to reflect the exact image as seen through the lens and so offers a more accurate viewfinder. SLR cameras have detachable lenses offering greater flexibility if you wish to take a variety of different photographs.
