Ideal if you need a DV tape player (my old DV camcorder broke - needed something to retrieve footage)
Good image quality in good light conditions
Straight forward operation
Great basic point and shoot camera
This DV tape camcorder produced better results than an alternate model SD camcorder using MPEG compression
