+ Excellent 4 slice toaster, great for crumpets / muffins etc.

- even on full setting it doesn't toast the bread properly. Its usually burnt on one side, still white the other. This has to be the worst toaster I've ever purchased, waste of money

+ It is ideal in the chrome retro finish to match my Russell Hobbs kettle. It's slimline 4 slice toaster is not bulky and easily fits on my kitchen worktop. The features are not overcomplicated and the settings, cancel button etc very easy to use.

+ It looks stylish and functions very well but might be considered a little large for many kitchens. Although it does add a dash to our utilities corner.

- It's noisy, makes a ticking noise until the toast pops up
It heats all elements even when toasting one slice so not economical, also when only toasting one slice it burns because all the heat goes to the one slice
Looks cheap and nasty, especially the side slider, which also moves at the slightest touch and I then have to put the slider back to where it was, the worst small elctrical item I have ever bought

+ slim design, yet fits 4 slices of bread. Clean 'chrome' effect finish. Has extra lifter to reach small toast.

- Very sensitive browning scale, so easily moved to darker setting.
