+ Performs well on lighty soiled wooden floors..

- This hoover performs well on lightly soiled woden floors but when I used it on a heavy soiled carpet this did not perform well at all. I had to empty the cylinder 4 times, the filter needed cleaned on all 4 occassions. The other con is that the attachments are of no length at all which resulted in be being butted in the behind. Overall I would not recommend this to a friend it would only add extra misery to a chore which should be easy. I am not looking forward to my next experience!!

+ The variable settings for hard floor, carpets, the ease of emptying and cleaning the filters and easy glide movement. The long plug cord is handy as it enables you to do more than one room from one power source.

- The pipe is not long enough when you are using the hose indepentantly and tit does not give you enough room to wrap the cord up when done. It is also quite heavy to carry up and down stairs.
