Roxio Creator 2009

+ good video editing features

- old version easier to copy disc - one click
i initially had difficulty working out how to actually use the editing features - needed clearer user guide

+ i like the fact you can edit video and picture slide shows in the same application

+ i have used roxio products for over six years now and roxio 9 is the best yet.

+ this product is well and truely worth the money and the performance is great

+ Really easy to use with lots of features

- If your using it to edit video, beware. It always end up with an aspect ratio of 4.3, even though it's been filmed in 16.9. Even if you select 16.9 from their menu, you still get narrow, skinny videos!

+ Seems to do most things I wanted. Easy to navigate around the options.

- Some options require a further purchase. Tricky to manually tag the end of digitised LP tracks until you get the hang of it and use the zoom feature.

- Product did not work to start with and had to download a patch before it functioned

- The questionnaire is pointless unless you ask what the product is to be used for. My old Roxio did all I wanted but it was not compatible with Vista. The Roxio 9 has a wealth of facilities which I do not want and is not as simple to use. It tries to do too much without allowing me the freedom of to design things for myself.

+ not to bad to use, had to use it for awhile to get used to it,
have used earlier versions of roxio which seemed easier to use
