Roberts R9928 Reviews: AM, FM and LW

+ Very good, full sound, which is the main reason I bought a Roberts radio. I use it on mains power only so can't comment on battery life.

- The only thing I would like to see changed is the way the station presets are designed - they are small dials on the back which can go off-tune very easily - just by picking the radio up to move it. If anything touches these dials, they go off tune.

+ Useful radio, great for spoken word and portability.

- Really needs better sound quality for listening to serious music.

- It is not always easy to pick up a good signal which hinders the sound/reception.

+ This Item was purchased for a person aged 90. It is simple for them to use (once we set the pre set stations). The desigh makes it simple for them to use. A DAB radio is too awkward for them to operate and this is ideal.

- Would like a preset on AM.
To set up a preset is not easy for the aged to do themselves

+ once you master the different controls, which can be a little difficult to older people, the radio is first class
