+ Sound quality is superb for the size and price.

- Display is quite small. My sellected channels have cleared from the memory a couple of times and I don't know why.

- Could do with 10 pre-stationed buttons rather than doudling up the 5 allocated. I have been unsuccesful in using station 6, ie 5 depressed with 1 and it is a nuisance to have to use two hands to select a station.

+ The radio is a good weight when picked up, it looks and feels of good quality. We are especially pleased with the quality of sound.

- The glare of the blue lights on the display is not pleasant. I refer to the black model. Maybe differ on other models. The sound quality of higher notes is not as good as expected.

+ Love the stream like design. The buttons are nicely crafted and highlighted so you can use without light on or during the day. Classic design and well crafted.

- The LCD screen could consist of 3 lines so you wouldn't have to wait for the info. to scroll.

+ Good reception and sound. Both DAB reception and VHF are the best I have found. Date 7 time functions are useful

- Uses 6 x D cell batteries which are heavy and do not have very high capacity. I overcame this by using 6 x AA batteries in battery converter holders giving much reduced weight and larger capacity.

+ Very good reception, many stations, not obtainable on other radios.

+ Very neat & modern design - a real eye catcher.
Looks are great especially when swiched on and lit up.
Very simple & easy to use as you can use the rotary knob to quickly tune into any station & then select as well as having all the preset stations.
The large scrolling LCD display is veasy to read & ideal to quickly know what station you're tuned into and what program or song is on.

+ This radio was purchased for a 21st Birthday present. Having already owned a Roberts model I knew it would be good quality.

+ Good design, build quality and finish. Sounds good and has a clear display with large text.

- Though reception is supposed to be good in this area, Tuning is sensitive and slight movement of radio will cause distortion in sound or sound to break up.

+ BATTERY & MAINS. VERY GOOD SOUND QUALITY WITH BASS & TREBBLE CONTROLS. HAVE HAD A ROBERTS RADIO BEFORE (STILL HAVE IT) AND THEY ARE WORTH THE BIT MORE YOU PAY.

+ It is just a lovely stylish design that works. We like it so much that we each (three of us) have one! It is easy to set up and change from preset to preset; volume control is accurate; no buzzing or hissing; it's good.

- It seems on the pricey side, but then again you get what you pay for.

- Hard to find any really! The carrying handle design is a bit inelegant with an unsightly joint between the two plastic mouldings, and the set is heavy with batteries in place. But these are minor details.

+ Excellent sound quality. Easy to set up. Nice to have rotating volume, treble and bass controls.
