Separate Grill
Grill area is ideal to keep food/plates warm when bottom oven is in use

- Shelf on door retricts size of bird (Turkey) that could be cooked in the supplied baking tray. However, I have removed the shelf and the oven is more than adequate for cooking a large turkey on the conventional shelves inside the oven. A small negative comment compared to all the pluses.

+ The oven is easy to use, and very efficient. I have found it value for money and aesthetically, very attractive in design.
- The oven cavity itself is a little small.

+ Extra space in the left hand oven means I don't have to juggle and squeeze too many trays into a small space. The "clip on" roasting tray is really handy, as is the plate warmer. The electric oven cooked the Sunday Roast much better than my previous gas oven.

Two ovens. Oven size is excellent. Most range cookers have 2 'normal sized' (ie small) ovens, this one has a big one and a small one, so you can actually fit more in the big one. I like the fact that the slim one is not storage space, so I can (and have!) used it to cook something else (usually pavlova) while dinner is cooking.
The wok ring. Amazing! I do a lot of wok cooking (even more now!) and it doesn't interfere with other pans on the hob top in use at the same time. My big jam saucepan also fits on this.
The griddle pan attachment. Perfect for steaks, chicken breast, tuna steaks, asparagus! Still leaves you with plenty of hob space for pans.
Large grill pan - I can make more cheese on toast at one time (Can you tell we are a large family!)
I spent a lot of time measuring ovens and tried to see as many as I could to get a feel for what was around. I liked the look of this one as it was fuss free and also liked the oven sizes and hob configeration as I didn't just want 8 rings. Our kitchen isn't big, so I needed something larger than usual but also compact. This has been perfect. I'm really please with it and would recommend it to anyone after a small range style cooker.
Gas cut off with the lid shut. Great kids safety feature as long as you remember to check the dials are off before you open the lid!
-
By locking the ovens on the timer/clock you can prevent a child accidentally turning on the electric oven. Unfortunately this does not work for the grill, which I think would be more useful as the grill is more easily accessible to small inquisitive fingers.
I am finding that some things cook quicker at the front, despite it being a fan oven, so I just make sure I turn things as they cook.
Gas whistles on low heat - very irritating!

+ Looks are superb, quality is excellent. LPG hob is well worth having. Narrow tall oven is very useful with all its shelves.
-
I would prefer a third shelf for the main oven (rather than the roasting one) - I can't batch bake more than two trays of biscuits etc as my baking trays are too wide for the narrow oven.
I find the grill setting on medium and low doesn't actually seem to cook anything so I always have to use it on high.

- Although I thought the swing out door tray would be an advantage I find it difficult to place other items on bottom shelf without knocking them with the door tray.

+ Separate grill, double ovens, speed ovens heat up to temperature, fan ovens cook very evenly, gas hob - burners very precise, easy to control even down to the lowest heat, love the plate warmer in the tall oven, Delighted with whole cooker.
- Haven't found any.

+ It looks and feels like a proper cooker after the 'built in' cooker we previously had which was a bit, the hob, here and a bit there the cooker which was the stlye in the fitted kitchen. Was easy to fit for services and required a minimum of alteration to the fitted kitchen design.
- The cooker chassis at the bottom sticks out from the back and I had to make a small alteration to the floor to wall joint to enable the cooker to push in to the space all the way.

+ Good Looking, Cooks well. Easy to clean.
- Chrome rail blocks chrome control knobs. A bit difficult to get shelves out of small oven if fitted in a corner.

+ Everything except the grill.
- Grill only has one height level though it does heat up very quickly.
purchased 04 Sep 2006
+ Excellent and easy to use, like design except rangemaster hood, in optimum height position, bar ends are at my forehead height and are quite hard and angular and I have bashed my head several times!
- Oven light button and gas ignition button look the same and i have once accidentally pressed wrong one and gas has been flooding out for several minutes before I realised (didn't notice gas hadn't ignited as there was a pan on the hob at the time.
