RAC 300 UK

+ I own one of these myself and find it light and compact and easy to use, therefore I bought one for my sister for Christmas.

- There are no bad points to this product at all, it is user friendly and even a child could use it.

+ Size makes it easy to carry/hide from view when not in use

- Has been inacurrate on 1 occasion - sometimes "takes you round the houses"

+ good value for money living in cumbria it has good coverage no bad signal areas, and when you go wrong its quite quick to re route

- haven't used it too much but up to press found nothing yet

+ Design and size is very good

- Sometimes doesn't plan route straight away

+ As good as Tom Tom but at a cheaper price

- sometimes confuses sharp corners with turns. Not the most up to date maps, although i don't think even the more expensive sat navs are that up to date either

+ It's easy to use, nice and small, no frills - just practical... great!

- It took us through Central London once when it ought to have been quicker around the M25... it took over an hour extra than expected so don't trust it around London.

- cant plan a journey using a via method, e.g. a stop off somewhere first

+ Clear easy to read display. Price at the time beat lots of models with smaller display.

- Takes a while to get a fix when starting but not a big problem.

+ EVERYTHING IS GOOD, WORKED AS SOON AS WE TURNED IT ON, STRAIGHT FORWARD INSTRUCTIONS, NO MORE SPEEDING FINES AS IT ALERTS YOU TO FIXED CAMERA'S IN PLENTY OF TIME. WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SAT NAV FOR ANYONE.

+ Very easy to use touch screen and menu design.
Graphics and display are clear, sharp, easy to view and follow.

- Help function is limited - really need to have read the user manual to make sense of the help function.
If you dont directly follow the calculated route, it can take some time to recalculate the alternative route you are following.
