+ Excellent rich stereo sound, looks great in white and benifits from the 'charge pak' facility regarding portability. Well done pure!

- No handle, but other wise great

+ This is an excellent product - although a little pricey, it is definately worth it, they do a smaller version wich would be better for those on a budget. The reception and sound quality is fantastic and believe me i am a bit of a teccy phobe and i can use it!!!!! looks pretty too - i have the white one very girly

+ Excllent sound reproduction free of all interference - in our case without even requiring extension of the integral aerial. Far better value and sytle than competing products such as Roberts. Energy saving credentials strong.

- Optional extra rechargeable battery pack is expensive - almost half the price of the radio! This option would be more attractive if any generic rechargeable battery could be installed instead.

- No designated buttons for presets, confusing for 'elders' so 8 for ease of use.
No handle = 8 score for portability.
Although the casing looks & feels very nice, it does collect fingerprints too easily.
Aeriel snapped near base on mine but probably owing to carelessness!

+ We take ours camping and it's great. Good sound quality - and the soft outer shell plastic looks and feels fantastic and really different. Also the stop, pause and rewind is really good.

- Can some times squeak and crackle if aerial isn't in the right position. But other than that can't fault it!

+ Easy enough for the wife to operate

- Can't turn the alarm 'off' without switching the radio 'on'
Also, no night light as such i.e. in the dark, I can't see what time it is having less than perfect eyesight.

+ COLOUR, STEREO, RECEPTION & SOUND QUALITY

- NO HANDLE, RECHARGEABLE BATTERY PACK EXPENSIVE, ALARM DOES NOT WORK WHEN IN BATTERY MODE(not sure if this is a feature or intended)

+ Looks good, has a lovely tone, even when turned up loud!!

+ With two speakers in the stereo radio they are under less stress at fairly high volume than the single speaker in the equivalent mono radeio.

- None but the giving information should be bigger.

+ Fairly simple to programme and good reception gave load of stations.Polymer battery a big plus

- Minimum sound is too loud especially at night time.Would be better with a continuously variable volume adjuster.
