+ Crystal clear reception, even in the basement. Handy LCD display which keeps me from permanently asking "What's this song?".

+ It is very sleek and stylish. The control for changing station is very good and it does offer FM for non digital stations.

- The buttons are quite small, not particularly a problem for me but could be for others. The display scrolls quite slowly and if you are trying to read it and turn up the volume at the same time you lose the information for a minute.

- We cannot get Capital Radio on it - can you advise why? Capital radio talk about your radios and getting clearer Capital but we can only get capital on our old radios in the house and car!

- LCD is a little small...if I was being picky. Also the lead isn't too fond of rough treatment, although Pure seem to have addressed this and made it a little bit tougher of late.

- Standard batteries used up very quickly (esp if accidentally left on) so sensibly you have to buy one of the rechargeable battery packs which are very expensive.Frustrating but at least a 1-off.

- operation of features is more complex than it should be, would not be suitable for someone with less than nibble fingers, and good eyesight. Battery life better than most DAB's but still not as good as with an analogue radio. Still a satisfied purchase.

- The display could do with being lit up because its difficult to see in low light. But saying that it could be that I have just missed how to achieve that by not reading the instructions properly!
