+ Looks really nice, particularly for its price - many of the other clock radios in the same price bracket look much more cheap and plasticky. The sound quality is great, and it has loads of useful functions. Our baby enjoys the natural sounds when he's going to sleep!

+ Great Display.Great sound .Basically you know what you are getting from pure !!!!.

- No battery back-up for alarm clock (in case of power cut).I know when the power comes back on the time will
be re-set, but will the alarm setting still be valid ?????.It would have been great if there was a portable option
i.e. like the new Evoke.Quite long winded alarm setting procedure !!!!!!!!!

+ Fantastic piece of kit. There are options to tailor every conceivable element of the various alarms and display functions. The natural sounds are great to have on a sleep timer - the waves particularly, are very calming. Its a pleasure to fall asleep wand wake up to!

- A little expensive at the time of purchase but I'm sure it'll come down once the model has been out there for a little longer.

+ Lovely, robust design and great features. The auto-dimming display is a boon. So much better than the plasticky alternatives out there.

- I would have liked a slightly larger display, but it's not really an issue

+ I used to listen to Planet Rock through the internet but the transmission used to falter somewhat. So I bought this radio because purely (excuse the pun) for the DAB radio, not the alarm or other features. It is well designed. No bits sticking out. Good sound quality. I would definitely by this product again. And I got it for a great price.

- When you press preset buttons etc as there is no weight to radio i can be pushed over.
When there is no noise I can hear a buzzing sound in standby mode.

- Menu can be a bit fiddly at first

+ Excellent sound reception and clarity on DAB and FM
Good range of stations on DAB and no more medium wave listening (hurray!).
Also can connect and play my mp3 player through the radio (connecting cable not supplied)

All sockets on the rear - not good for ear phones, ipods etc
