+ excellent tuning and ease of use. Very stylish design.

- Requires DAB aerial to allow reception in some areas, limiting use. Also stereo sound only available when purchasing evoke speaker.

+ Looks good, easy to use and a good sound. Although it's early days, it seems sturdier and more robust than my previous radio, which became faulty after a year of reguar use.

- Styling is a matter of taste. Unchallenging is probably kindest thing I can say about the Evoke 1S.

+ Clarity is excellent; auto dimmer display is rather neat; When I recieved the unit I jus got straight on with using it - I didn't bother with the instruction manual. I like the idea of a low power consumption when in stand-by; I am so pleased with it, I bought a 2nd one as a gift

- No sleep timer - I cannot swap this unit with other DAB radio in the bedrom (which has not got an auto display dimmer)

+ Bought for me as a birthday present. Not a complete techie so I can only go on it's looks and sound quality. It sits in my kitchen looking sleek and I love it! Should have gotten one much earlier and I now listen to the radio much more!

- There are lots of different setting available which involves a lot of menus and sub-menus to navigate. Could do with a different weekend alarm setting but that would further add to the menus.
