Proline DWP5212 Reviews: Freestanding, 59cm wide, White Dishwasher

+ As effective as other brands and at a competetive price

- The only point I could make is that there can be a smell from the plastics when using on high heat cycle but would expect this will lessen with use

+ the rapid wash setting (35 min)

- the door springs back rather too quicky (beware fingers!)
the rapid wash doesn't dry dishers

+ This dishwasher has lots of space internally so even our biggest plates fit. It doesn't have lots of fancy features like our previous dishwasher but it really isn't necessary. Plus the cycle times are less than we've had with our last dishwasher but the results are just as good. This is a good buy.

- Rusts cutlery, leaves a deposit on glass despite all ajustments shown in book re salt and rinse aid dispencers.
Just does not do what it should, the one we disposed of cleaned a lot better but had a damaged door, wish we had kept it !!

- For the same stated capacity as the one it replaced, I can fit nowhere near as much in. I put the recommended amount of salt in and it's waaaaay too much and means that glasses aren't clean at all - guidance is wrong. All our cutlery rusts because it doesn't dry properly - it leaves small spots of water. This means that we can no longer put it on and go to bed as the cutlery has rusted by morning and is now ruined. We have to there when it finishes to whip it out and wipe it off. What we've ended up doing is washing all the cutlery by hand, which is a pain and rather defeats the object.

+ Good value for money. Plenty of programs rather than just on and off like other budget machines.

- Leg height adjustment is a bit tricky, adjusters are by means of 4/4.5mm bolts with limited access. Unless you have a very small socket set you're in trouble.
