+ Attractive camera with ample features for everyday photography. Particularly like the zoom feature which has a quick response.
Easy to use once the instructions have been read carefully and practised with.
Lightweight and compact and chose this one above others due to it coming complete with a battery and charger.
A nice camera and so far I am very satisfied with it.

- The only bad point is that when the camera is being removed from the case which it was supplied with, the sliding door which covers the memory stick and battery always comes open. The camera fits snugly in the case and when it is being removed for use, the hand has no way of getting the camera out without it sliding this cover open.

+ Decent build quality, the case which comes with the camera is a very snug fit which keeps the camera pocket size unlike some larger cases. I'm no expert but the image quality seems to be comparable with other compact digitals.

- The only weak point of the build quality seems to be the switch for the zoom which is a little flimsy.

+ It is earle days to make a proper assessment of the camera. However, so far I find the camera is easy to use. Good quality pics for a point and shoot. Pocket size and asy to carry around.

- I find that the rechargeable li ion battery ( Sanyo NP40) is quite expensive @ £20.00( Praktica Sales ). ...and as I have said above, it is too early to give a proper assessment.

There are 2 main types of camera: The SLR and the Compact. SLR stands for Single Lens Reflex. SLR cameras use a prism to reflect the exact image as seen through the lens and so offers a more accurate viewfinder.
