Philips SHS8000 Wired In Ear Headphones Reviews

+ Its great for sports, due to the snug fit, i.e. it does not come off, or out of the ear. I mountain bike with them.

- As with most earphones the cable is too long, which is really irratating, as it gets tangled or caught round things. I have wound up the excess into a 'ball', however the rest of the cable and earphones now tangle round this. Some sort of retractable cable mechanism would be great on all earphones!

+ The earhook is perfect for down the gym to use with my IPOD. Old earphones fell out a lot when exercising. They're also comfy on the ear even when worn for a long time.

- The power lead is annoyingly long and you have to tuck a lot of its slack into something else you catch it. The power lead part could be shorter.

+ Great sound

- Ear 'sponges' keep getting lost

+ Universal ear fitting with three sizes of plugs supplied

+ The only earphones I can find that stay in place whilst jogging/x-training and remain totally comfortable whilst giving a good depth of sound, highly recommended.

- Some times fill with sweat and the sound fades, a simple blow through restores the sound, don't be put off this happens infrequently during a very heavy exercise session.
The buds can come off quite easily and are easy to lose,can't find anywhere that sells replacement buds.
