+ Lovely looking phones. Modern and minimal. Lightweight. Extremely good reception when far away from the base unit.I got all the way across 2 gardens to visit my mum with the phone in hand and recieved a call from my husband! The answer machine is simple to use, and menus are easy to navigate.

Every time something is changed or you replace the handset to the base unit it plays a little "tah dah" which gets very annoying. It can't be switched off, so I'm just going to have to put up with "tah-dah" 10 times a day!
The actual in call volume is not too great. The other person sounds like they are calling from Australia even when it's just across the road. We have it at maximum volume.

Slimline design, looks good but hard to to hold no-handed between ear and shoulder. Hands free option, caller had difficulty hearing me.
A very poor point is the need to press the receive button when answering a call. Other phones I have had receive automatically when picked up from cradle.
The answer machine has no time or day function so you have no idea when the message was left.

- Cannot use the telephone when connected to broadband internet because wireless router and wireless printer cause interference despite using filter on phone line. Does not have XD enhancement as on other Philips phones
