- viewing some sky channels look a bit fuzzy and i spend most of the time sorting it out

+ Always having bought Sony in the past it would really have to be an outstanding product to make the change.
This TV certainly did not make me regret my purchase and move from Sony. Quality of both sounds and picture is perfect. Great amount of inputs and if you have not yet jumped to HD, watching a standard sky input you will not be disappointed. Ambilight feature, superb - but dont expect to get a true feel in your local store, if you need to see a demo just type in ambilight in to youtube.com

- Basic plasic remote control. Unfortunaly gone are the days of high end aluminium remotes.

+ Excellent picture on HD and std signal, best of the many units i checked out.The ssound is better than i was expecting.

- None at the moment. More impressed than I was expecting.
There are lots setting which need tuning to get the best set up.

+ The picture - playing through a bluray DVD player it is simply astounding. OK, I'm no expert but I cannot find fault with it. The contrast / brightness levelling is acceptable and the additional Phillips own motion flow software is really worth having. Ambilight - Not a gimmick as far as I am concerned, you can watch television in a darkened room and not get eye strain. It really adds to the experience.

- Not much I do not like about this television, a minor criticism is that the remote control can be a little awkward and appears to have a design which ensures I always seem to have it upside-down.
