- The only gripe is that volume levels differ greatly between Analogue and Digital signals and it means constantly changing the volume when switching from one to the other.

- Headphone Socket does not mute speakers. Turning the sound up when the headphones are connected activates the speakers.

- No on and off switch (as i can find) only stays on standby or you have to un plug at wall. when watching play back on sky plus my screen sometimes has a very faint verticle line down it. basic but can be a bit annoying.

+ From the design point of view we like the "silvery" edge to the set, we have it against a stone background and the "silvery" edge softens the outline.
From the technical standpoint it is easy to use and set up, most important to the older age group who aren't technically "with-it".

- The remote is dificult to work out because it's buttons are too small and it uses icons on the buttons not the actual word for the action eg, the mute button just has a speaker with a cross through it and not printed with the word mute which makes it very difficult for people with limited sight problems, the remote is also to small for people with arthritis like myself.

- THE STAND MEASUREMENTS ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH HEIGHT. I could have had a major problem as tv had to fit into a unit, just by sheer chance it fitted in

Sharp pictures

- Tiny buttons on remote control and hence tiny symbols don't make it easy for all users.

+ I needed to change the sound settings so I was grateful to find it has a graphic equaliser and it's easy to change any of the settings. You can turn on an information banner for the programme that you're watching. If you want a radio station there is a button on the remote which just brings up radio stations for selection

- Not the best programme information screen I've seen and there's no programme sound or picture when you view it, You cant bookmark a programme. Some of the connection holes face down from under the set and you need a mirror to plug leads in

+ Quite happy overall with this product.

- Digital menu does not switch over automatically once set as a reminder. Sleep timer not very straight forward either, takes a bit of getting used to. The light at the base of the TV shines like a beacon in the night if on standby. Equally annoying is the fact that TV is on permanent standby if not turned off from the wall plug.
