Panasonic TX-P50G10 Reviews: Viera, 50" Screen Plasma Full HD 1080p TV

+ Looks fantastic, sets up easy and gets freesat and freeview channels as well as all available sky free channels.

+ I am a 61year old muppet and even I was able to install it and set it up with the built in freeview and freesat. The hand held control is easy to use the te tv guides are very useful to see what is on across all channels.
The quality of the picture is awesome. 1080p and 600 hertz makes a real difference to viewing experience. I previously didn't watch much television but the sheer quality of viewing is simply amazing which makes it unmissable.

- I would not trust the included stand. I would be happy to demonstrate the set using the stand but not to us it in full time operation.

+ I use this product mainly for gaming and films, and can not fault its ease and simplicity, the picture quality is superb and as im not using a seprate surround sound systerm i cant fault the sound quality either, a great experiance for entertainment

- comes with two things ive never heard of in my life, ferrel ports or something that clip around wires, no idea what on earth they are and doesnt come with much information, and dont see why a customer should go out of there way to look it up

+ Easy to set-up, easy to use. Great looking set. I've wall mounted mine but the swivel base is a good idea for stand mounting too. Fantastic HD pictures through my Sky HD set-up. Good colours with nice inky blacks.
I upgraded my DVD player to a Blu-Ray player when I bought this set and again the HD pictures are fantastic. Usual good Panasonic build quality and in my opinion the best set available in this price range.
A vast improvement on my old 42" Philips plasma.

- The only thing I would say is that the sound could be better but this is a problem with a lot of TVs nowadays as they try to pack so much into a compact design. Thankfully, as I have a surround sound system, I can overcome this small criticism. Also it took a while to get used to the sound of the cooling fan when the sound is low.

- Colour banding on all inputs. standard def picture really bad. Weak colours. Motion blur, what more can i say....Don't buy it.

+ Awesome quality..even normal SD channels look stunning...best buy of my lifetime :)...dont doubt just buy this tele if you are looking for 50inch...

- Cant think of any...

+ i like the slick black gloss frame of the TV.

- i wish that the bottom of the TV didnt have the curve and that it was completely straight as the other thre sides are.
