+ Excellent picture quality and sound. Able to custom label the input AV
Huge number of features - am only using 20% of them at present
Even watching a DVD on composite 520p is a major difference compared to our old telly
Sure not to disappoint.

- Stand is a pain to assemble due to deep screwholes - Make sure you use a magnetic screw driver.
"PC connection" turns out to be a SVGA or composite link, not a VGA or digital video as hoped.

+ The sound and picture quality are excellent. The auto set up worked like a dream and the remote control buttons are easy to see and use, particularly for my mother-in-law who is 85 next month. The EPG is well set out and again easy to use.

- None so far.

- Expensive in comparison with other makes.
Recessed screws mean the base is a little tricky to assemble.

+ I was concerned about the setting up of this TV as the last one I set up took ages and was complex for only 5 channels!! So I set aside an afternoon to set this one up. But it was so simple, plug it in, turn it on, and 2 minutes later it was done!! The sound quality is brilliant, the picture is great now, but in the condition it was delivered in there was no colour defininition, but with a bit of fiddling with the colour menu it is excellent. Easy to use, good value and overall a great TV.

+ Does all it says, easy to set up and for an LCD good results.

- As with all LCD tv sets the angle of vision is critical, so position in room is important to get the best picture

+ Excelent value for money product. I bought it as a bedroom TV so did not need all the bells and whistles that came with a higher spec TV. One important aspect that had to be right was the sound quality as we had been very disappointed with Samsung model which had sounded very thin but this Panasonic is definately good enough and has audio output anyway.

- Not that it is a problem with our set up because we view it face on but the quality of the picture is diminished when viewed from a shallow angle, a common issue with lesser spec LCD screens.

- Stand is very difficult to fit - mine remains "loose". Purchase price (£299) very good value when I bought the TV but went up by £100 a few days later just as I wanted to buy another one for my mother.

+ It looks good, is easy to use and the sound and picture quality are good.

- There are no bad points with the TV itself but the instruction booklet is not very clear, particularly in relation to setting up the DVD player. It was very much trial and error in the end, but we got there!
