excellent viewing from any angle and very easy to use with freesat, sky and dvb freeview. also it looks fantastic i love the slim black around the screen its looks much better than most.
the sound is excellent and its nice to have extra hdmi sockets for todays extra addons.
also great for connecting as a pc monitor.

Lovely picture with ordinary TV and excellent with HD broadcasts. I could sit and watch HD regardless of the programme, just to marvel at the clarity!
-
One strange feature of wide screen TVs seems to be their inability to always pick the right aspect ratio. I expected the Auto setting to display wide (16:9) or old format (4:3) correctly without distortion (making people look short and fat), but it doesn't. If you choose the 4:3 setting, while viewing a 4:3 programme, it displays correctly (with black bars at the sides) and also shows 16:9 programmes in full screen, but I would have expected this with the Auto setting. Curiously the manual shows the options and describes them as being without distortion, yet shows examples of a squashed picture of a sunflower! Having said this, it is very easy to change the aspect ratio using the remote control.

Image quality is a leap ahead of my last panasonic the 37lzd70. The 100hz really makes a difference and freeview works a treat.
-
Sound is poor and there seems little you can do about it except bypass it. I preffered the wider 37lzd70 with speakers either side.

So easy to set up- it's all done for you. For the explorer, the ''Other satellite'' option can throw up some gems. But best of all is the quality of the Freeview picture. Although HD is available on the Freesat option, the Freeview version is really stunning. I'd also recommend selecting at least the 37" version. It's not too big for the average size living room and you really feel part of the action. Dig out those old favourite films on dvd/ video- it'll be like a cinema experience.
-
The options can be bewildering- but it's worth the effort to find something decent to watch.

After being stunned with so many makes and models on display and internet research for pro's and cons this came tops for our family of 4 with two younsters aged 18 & 20.
After going into a store and viewing all Panasonic models the visual display attracted me to this one straight away. Very easy to view. Was concerned when arrined in home and saw the size. However once set up very sleek and stylish. Looked less bulky than our 28" Nicam Stereo Toshiba . When we purchased that model 8 years ago it took me ages to get used to.

Picture viewing angle is excellent for an LCD TV, and the HD picture is natural and, with the right source material, stunning in its depth. The Eco feature significantly reduces the power consumption without excessively dimming the picture. The Viera Link makes it easy to use the TV with, for instance, the Panasonic SA-BT200 Blu-Ray Home Theatre system. Freesat picture is excellent, even non-HD channels.
-
Pretty average TV sound. Some of the menus are a bit impenetrable, especially compared to LG's exemplary type. Freeview pictures are blocky and poor in movement, but that's more to do with Freeview than the TV.

Screen surround is narrow so it doesn't detract from the screen, some 37in models/makes look bulky and dated in comparison. Having an on/off button, maybe I'm old fashioned but I don't like to leave anything on 'stand-by' and some tvs we looked at before purchasing didn't have this basic function. Whole family is absolutely thrilled with our new tv.

stunning picture, good sound, easy to integrate with other electrical goods (blu-ray player, hi-fi, Sky), very tidy in appearance, remote has labelling big enough to read, Viera link.
-
mostly the instruction book, which is less than clear in places and does not seem organised logically, so to find any one piece of information you have to read the whole thing again.

An absolutley fabulous TV with analogue, satellite and HDMI inputs. The image is superb particularly at 1080p output from my PS3 and Freesat HD channels. Normal viewing is from a 1080i BT Vision Box which generally provides an excellent picture. Sound quality is also very good. Very quick to set up and use.
-
Only one; the satellite input is near the top left corner of the back of the unit, (looking from the front) which means that a standard satellite cable is quite noticeable if you are anywhere near the TV. Not a major problem though

I like most things on it.

The recordings not a lot how to get your recordings back after you have done them. And you can only record what you watching, while the tv is on.

TV Buyers Guide
Manufacturer's Description
Full-HD Models with freesat built-in, Superb Moving Picture Quality, Wide Viewing Angle and Advanced Networking Capabilities
“freesat” is a digital satellite service that offers free HD (High-definition) TV programmes. With the G10 series, you can enjoy sharp pictures, vivid colours, multi-channel sound, and various services with the interactive contents.
Even fast-moving scenes are displayed sharply and clearly. With a 50-Hz video signal input, 100-Hz Intelligent Frame Creation makes 100 frames/sec from 50 frames/sec. This increases the frame count to allow natural frame-to-frame transitions, for smooth motion images with high resolution. VIERA also uses motion focus technology that greatly enhances resolution.
The wide 178° viewing angle* ensures clear images even when viewed from an angle. The backlight’s wide transmission aperture enhances the contrast between light and dark, and improves motion-image response. * Measured at an angle where the contrast ratio is 10:1 or higher.
Enjoy realistic starlit skies right in your living room. Improvements in panel contrast and scene-adaptive contrast gamma correction have achieved a high contrast ratio of 20,000:1. The backlight tuning area is also expanded to achieve deeper blacks. *When using Dynamic mode
VIERA Link allows interconnected operation of various AV devices using only the VIERA remote control, by simply connecting the devices to each other by an HDMI cable. VIERA Link performance has been further enhanced with LUMIX digital camera connection. By connecting a new LUMIX camera that has an HDMI output terminal to VIERA, you can use the VIERA remote to control the playback of images stored on the camera.
It’s easy to view full-HD images with the SD card slot. Watch and show your photos and motion images right after you take them. Simply insert an SD Memory Card into VIERA to display photos and full-HD videos on the large screen. You can also choose from among 3 types of background music and 4 display effects.
