+ It takes the time and hard work out of bread making.
With the price of a really good tasty loaf as it is now, this is cheaper.
No messy utensils to wash up afterwards.

+ Made 5 loafs so far and they all came out perfectly. I have never made bread before so can't compare to another bread maker but I was told that making bread is not straight forwards; well, so far I have had no problem so it must be due to the bread maker itself!

- Not easy (even impossible) to cancel a program once set. I don't remember it being like this at first so I wonder if it has become faulty.

+ Definitely one of the best things I have bought, it's really easy to use / clean and the bread I have made from day one has been lovely. Pizza dough is great too and I've not bought any shop pizzas since we've had this. My only concern is that it might get worn out with over use! I hadn't planned to spend that much but it was definately worth the price.

- Perhaps its just my sd255, but I haven't had a single loaf with a top that doesn't go soft on cooling.

+ Excellent machine - don't know what I ever did without it ! Simple to use, easy to understand instructions - simply load ingredients as per recipe, swithc on and wait for the aroma of freshly baking bread to fill your house. Set it to be finished at 7am and i guarantee you will have no trouble getting out of bed. There are more recipes in the manual than I will ever get around to making - easy peasy and everyone should have one.

- No reset button if you start it and then need to stop it, to then restart it on the same programme, seems to reset itself to a basic xl loaf, not helpful when you were doing that type/size!

+ Follow the recipe book for precise measures of ingredients - I now add a combination of very strong flour (say 100g) with strong flour,this gives the bread a better texture.

+ This is bliss! I Have tried 6 of the recipes and they all produce delicious results. Best of all the bread stays fresh for days! No more mouldy shop bought bread for me! All in all, a fantastic product.

+ Automatic raisin drop in. When it works, you can produce a lovely fresh loaf of bread - when it doesn't it's frustrating, having waited 5 hours for a failure, and not to know why (see bad points). Once you get used to the buttons they are easy to use. New receipes totally different from the previous model's recipes.

- Don't always hear end of time bleeps - too soft. When loaf does not rise etc the explanation in the booklet is confusing - too much/too little water/yeast etc... had a previous model which worked perfectly for years then suddenly the loaves came out like bricks...

+ Very user friendly, consistent good quality bread of a variety of types and a revelation after having two very inferior bread makers in the past. You pay a little bit more but quality is well worth it.

+ so easy to use, so many different recipes to choose from - if you have a problem they have the solutions - totally in love with this machine! and the bread is so lovely even the quick bake in 1 hr 55 mins! Takes a couple of minutes to make. The timer is great too, you can't beat the smell of fresh bread in the morning!

+ This is the third breadmaker we have purchased but the first panasonic and we are very pleased with all aspects of this machine. We make at least 4 loaves each week and it gives consistant results each time on all types of bread, which is more than we can say about our previous machines.

+ This is my second breadmaker, my previous one was a Morphy Richards, this one is a different class, spend the extra itst well worth it.The finished products are far superior.

- My only small quibble is that the warning buzzer is not loud enough

- Just a minor point; cleaning the inside of the hole in the paddle/kneader blade is tricky. Perhaps the company could provide something for this job.

+ Ordinary bread is so much better than from my previous breadmaker - with the best home-made crust I've ever had. But the best feature for me is its special programme for gluten-free

- The instructions, although very clear and helpful, do not explain why some bakes take 2 hours whilst others take 5. Without that guidance all their pre-determined options take out a bit of user's choice. I also found that their extra large recipe came very close to spilling over the top when it rose. These are very minor points. I am pleased with my research - I have bought the best breadmaker on the market.

+ i love this bread maker its easy to clean and you have a choice of fast bake or slow bake it also has a nut feature on this model. i have not bought any bread from a shop since using this and never will. i have had this bread maker for about 6 weeks and i use it every day. money worth spent as its not one of the cheapest on the market but you pay for quality. well recomended 10/10

+ Just really happy with the overall experience of this breadmaker. I have never used one before, but now we never buy bread at all! It is really easy to use and the timer makes it great for having fresh bread in the morning. Also, the size of the loaves are perfect as you never have too much..it all gets eaten up. Found the recipes really useful too as had no idea what to do when I first got the machine. My first loaf was perfect and every one since has been too. Even using just the dough programme as well now for rolls and my daughter just loves them. It is wonderful to make food that you know is nutritious and has no bad stuff added.

- The only, very minor thing is that the blade can get stuck sometimes, but hey...life ain't perfect. Just bread!!

- Used nut dispensor the other day and some of the nuts seemed to fall outside bread container and burnt on element, made it a bit more difficult clean out and was a bit smelly (burnt nuts)
