+ Great looks, love the ipod dock, superb surround sound watching films. I also have an Optical linking it to my Sky HD Box and play everything through it now. Spot on for the music channels. I took a chance and purchased 2 of these at the same time when i told my mate about how cheap they were. he is also more than pleased with it. Cant comment on more pricey options but if you want good quality sound at a very good price dont go down the road of spending a fortune. The rear speaker cable length was not a problem for me either, (15') room.

+ For the money you cannot complain considering there are similar systems out there that are much more expensive and in my opinion offer very little difference in sound quality.
I have a 42" Panasonic Plasma TV and setting up is very simple using the Viera link functionality.
Be sure to have a HDMI lead and if like me are running Cable which on my box does not have HDMI capability then additional audio leads will be required.

- The rear speakers have a limited amount of speaker wire, fortunately I have just enough but larger rooms will require wire extending.

- On screen iPod menus could be better. up-scaling a little disappointing on some discs

- there are 2 bad things about this product which are that the speaker wire is fixed into the speakers so you are unable to buy better speaker wire for the system and there is only 1 HDMI input.

- Low end is a little boomy and sound a little thin - however this is in absolute terms, excellent for the money.

+ Very good value for a Product that works well and integrates with other Panasonic Viera-linked equipment effectively. Great sound in all modes: iPod, FM Radio & TV. (Worth a careful read (and re-read!) oif the Manual to extract the best sound quality and set up.). Sound effect from this Unit greatly enhances the overall enjoyment of watching TV. Overall an excellent Unit and strongly recommended.

- Speaker cables have relatively large flat moulded plugs which makes any rerouting through speaker stands, wall cavities unnecessarily difficult. Unable to disconnect cable at Speaker end as they are held in a resin internallly to the Speaker, so difficult to increase/shorten speaker cable for a neat installlation. The iPod facility is most useful, although the default iPod display via the TV is somewhat clumsy: much better via the iPod itself although initially difficult via the remote to achieve this (hint: press 'Function' key ... read the Manual !).

- complex to set up for different audio inputs , speakers are poor quality.

- Wires into the speakers could be designed in such a way as to plug out of the speaker.
Had to cut and rejoin the wires to run them through the ceiling - a simple pull out plug would have made installation a lot easier.

+ it is easy to use and easy to set up. it was installed in minutes and the sound is great. i have a wooden floor so the base sound is amazing.

- it does not have a direct input for audio from my computer.
