+ Great picture,brilliant freeview picture on a 50" screen,accepts 1080 24fps true high def.

+ HD quality is superb. All the connections you could need for current add-ons. Don;t use onboard sound (use a home cinema amp) but when tested it was very good. Picture quality spot on. An outstanding set for the money. AAAAA

- Remote is a bit cumbersome.

+ Superb picture quality - particular from HD source. Twin HDMI input.

- Sound could be better, but if buying a TV this size likely to have separate speaker package anyway.

+ Picture quality is awesome, design is sleek and stylish. For what I paid, this is easily the best 50 inch plasma on the market

- None so far. The sound could be a touch sharper but most people, myself included, upgarde to a 5;1 system anyway.

+ Before purchase I was concerned that the picture quality on standard definition broadcasts would be poor. I'd seen a friend's Samsung LCD using its built-in Freeview tuner for standard-def, and it was really awful.
I need not have worried; picture quality on both standard definition and high-definition is superb on this Panasonic PZ50B. Standard-def can vary a little depending on channel/signal quality, but overall it's more than acceptable. On occasion I have even mistaken a standard-def broadcast for high-def! I'm very happy :D

- None so far. Sorry I can't speak for the set's audio quality as I use an external sound system. Reports says it's good though.

+ Very good picture quality, even off my normal TV ariel. It was better than what I had seen in the major electrical stores. Very impressed. Visitors to my house say the same

- The sound quality could be improved. Not a good base note. The lack of a sub-woofer connection dissapointed me. That would have made all the difference.

+ colours and contrast when using blu-ray on hdmi is amazing. easy to use menu systems. crystal clear picture.

- cable box when plugged in av1 rgb mode is prone to motion smearing. haven't yet used freeview so no comment. uses lots of power and can keep the room warm due to it's huuuge size.

+ we have not actually purchase this as a television but as presentation screen and it is spot on
