Panasonic NNCD767M Freestanding, microwave

+ Good range of useful auto programs and comprehensive cook book with good recipies. Easy to use and self clean is a bonus.

- I would prefer to have the microwave function by default rather than have to select it and the dial timer slows things down compared with previous press button models. Also it's only minute adjustable up to 10 mins (on non microwave settings), after that it's in 5 minute intervals which is not helpful when some of the recipies call for 18 etc. minutes.

+ Multi function microwave / grill / oven in a fair size. Not a small microwave but right for a family.

- Selecting and setting up the auto programmes is a bit fiddly and to get accurate cooking you need to be prepared tow eigh the food and input the weight. Selecting the cooking time is also fiddly - done by twisting a rotary control until the time is correct, small increments first larger for bigger times but I don't find it as nice as just keying in the minutes and seconds onto a keypad which is how my old Panasonic worked.

+ Easy to operate and does everything it says it will.
