+ Nice machine, Really good processing speed. No problems at all setting up. All up and running & on the net inside 30 mins of opening the box. Overall very pleased with the purchase. I would recommend this to anyone who requires a machine that will process data efficiently & it's got masses of storage space too

- Unfortunately the hard drive proved faulty within hours of receipt: very noisy and causing the whole system to hang twice during the first 12 hours.

+ I'd been searching for a computer for awhile, but everything I liked the look of was way out of my price range. I looked at this, and it was perfect with regards to RAM, memory etc. It was really easy to set up, and not as long as I'd seen some reviews said Vista took. It was really good value for money for a good brand PC with enough memory to last awhile. It's been a month now, still running smoothly, no problems!

- Internet setup was more tricky, but I think that was more to do with my service provider rather than the computer. I was dissapointed it didn't come with Microsoft Office - had to buy that separately - but I did know that beforehand.

- Can't change from 'single channel' memory setting in the BIOS - in fact, can hardly change anything at all. On-board graphics card is a bit rubbish, and anything more powerful requires you to change the power supply, and some power supplies aren't small enough to tuck in behind the DVD drive. Lack of space also means that once a graphics card is installed no other peripherals (like a TV card) can really be put in either, since it greatly restricts air flow. Packaged mouse isn't even optical. One point to consider also is that if you change your operating system (I did, to Windows 7) PC World won't accept any responsibility for a malfunction, because in their words, "it could be a software problem", even when it really really isn't.
I guess this computer's good if you only want to use the internet, word processors and some basic games, but for anything more advanced, look for something else.

+ great value for money, a lot of performance under the hood. Its also very easy to set up and the innovative lock system allows you tool-less access to the motherboard.

- it lacks wi-fi, and is under powered with a psu rated at 230 volts. this means that high end graphics card upgrades are out of the picture as they would take you over the power threshold. The best card at the power/performance ratio required by the machine is the ati 4670. It provides enough performance to play most games at good quality settings but doesnt require exessive amounts of power. N.B the ati 4670 and the nvidia 9600 is not an option. The built in graphics capabilty is terrible.

+ The spec-is brilliant for the price i paid. Quad core processor with 3gb ram and 500gb hdd works like a dream. I upgraded the psu and added a nvidia 9500gt and now its perfect. Considering it was a refurbished product, the case looked brand new, so good all round.

- This may just be my system, but it hadn't been properly set up when i got it out of the box, so I had to phone the support team to finish the setup. Only a minor setback though, for a great product.
