+ The phone has fantastic features whihcl can't name them all

- The battery cover appears very fragile, this can easily brake

+ Stylish phone, excellent battery life, isn't going to be 'behind the times' for a while as it uses hsdpa or '3.5g' so internet browsing is very quick as are downloads, the camera is suprisingly good and the media software is easy to use and nicely designed

- however the build quality, when slid open the phone does feel a bit wobbily

+ the phone looks good and overall works well, does what i need it to and doesn't need charging all time has a great battery life can go 3/4 days without charge!

- the phone overall is quite slow if inbox has a few messages in and the media button can't be changed and is inconveniant as i don't use the phone for music

+ the memory and all the features of the phone are good

+ Looks great, got a very good screen, feels very solid and strong. Walkman feature is really good.

- Camera tends to blur unless you hold it absolutly perfectly still. Music jerks if you try to send a text while listening to it. Not sure if it's just mine but when listening to music through the speakers, they're sterio but one seems to be louder than the other so the balance sounds wrong.

- as it has video call it needs a camera on the front as it theres no point of a video call without having camera on front because u either point the back camera at yourself and not see the other person or u look a the other person nd they dont see you

+ Really nice colour, good features, really good camera, I love how you can make music tracks really small and fit loads, the media computer software, I love the quadrapop game, I love the double earphone jack, it's a good size, I can put on music videos, send files by bluetooth really fast.

- The clip for the handsfree cable kept falling off and is now lost and I find it hard to use now. The maximum music volume is really low, especally if you put it on megabase and it loks a bit too much like previous sony ericsson phones, it's hard to access your photos.

+ The menu flips when the phone is tilted, although the phone is sometimes slow to respond to this. easy to find what you are looking for. nice, slim design of phone.

+ A great little phone with all the functions a normal phone should have. I wasn't really sure about the curved design at first, but it has grown on me. The design is smart and functional. The keys are responsive and the interface spretty smooth and quick. Feature wise it has pretty much everything you would want or need. Remember this is meant to be a phone - it is not a replacement for a camera or mp3 player - if you want great pictures buy a camera; if you want the best sounding portable music system get a dedicated mp3 player. This is a hybrid system designed to give you a great phone with the benefits of things we seem to think are essentials. Having said all of this, the camera is sharp giving crisp images and the walkman function great with impressive quality. Overall, it is eveything most people will need.

- Firstly, back panel is flimsy and irritating to remove and clip back in- half the time I think I am going to break it, the sides creak a bit if squeezed, suggesting that SE cut costs a bit in order to cram functionality in and keep the overall cost down. Secondly,, the battery life isn't spectacular. You'll get plenty of days on standby, but it is fairly thirsty once you start working it! Thirdly the SIM card slot is irratating and it is difficut to remove the card without the aid of tweezers - that said, some cards are easier to remove than others - Orange cards were the most bother! sadly this pretty great phone is let down by poor undercover ergonomics and poor build - sad really as otherwise this is great phone and, if you can be careful, worth the money.

A nice sterdy phone which is made of quality

- The pc software wouldn't find the drivers for my phone
so the install took ages at didn't complete properly
Then i plugged in my phone, which i wasn't told to do and this installed the drivers

+ Very easy to use, and i was able to understand the phone without referring to the manual. Excellent sound quality

- Battery can drain quite quickly, despite charging it for the advised 14 hours before first use.

+ it is a great phone. Very easy to use, has alarms you can set for different times and days, colour is my favourite against the pink anyday!
Would recommend!

- Battery life goes down quick, but there is a function on the phone to change the brighness of the text and this however will make the battery last a little bit longer.

+ very good walkman feature with good sound playback,video playback is excelent,the screen automaticly changes from vertical to horizontal when you turn phone on its side. easy to use menu,slider is smooth and the chrome detail on edge of phone is a nice feature. all in all would say good value for money

- have to charge battery every couple of days, hopefuly this will get better through time as the battery gets conditioned

I still have not found a simple way to get out of the music player straight back to the "desktop" (with one key) without turning off the player. So if I want the music to go on, I have to do down the music path (ie. track > then album or artist > then media menu > then main menu > then desktop). Is theer a way?

+ Good, easy to use phone if you want a phone to be a phone and not a device to organise every part of your life. Nice walkman, easy to use.

- Navigation to features is cumbersome and complicated, and even worse getting back to main screen. Easy to miss incoming texts unless volume is on full - have to keep checking it whereas my last phone reminded me. Slider is easy to open without meaning to, so unlocking the screen.

- Havent got any really perhaps the signal could be a little better, and the quality of sound could be better to, it sounds a little rattley when the volume is turned up.

- camera not brilliant is easily marked and affects quality of the picture and its no good if want take picture at night or not in brightly light places...

- Battery life is appalling!! previous phone was a sony ericcison and battery life was very good so I am very dissapointed by this.Also it is really fiddly using the keypad and I have small fingers so I dont know how other people manage.There is also a delay in response time when using the phone which can be frustrating,i.e writing text and using the walkman feature

- No text/missed call reminder, so if you don't hear the message alert on the first occasion then you must constantly open the phone to check to see if anything waiting. Poor battery life

+ Great Phone. I got this on contract from vodafone. Yes, It's great for anyone who needs a not to fancy phone for everyday use, but would still like some of the more fancy things like video calling.

- Sometimes the navigational keys are slow- so you press it again and go one step too far. (I really had to think for a bad point)

- only had it under a month and thescreen is jammed on the vodafone sign and wont move so cant use it anymore very disappointed

+ Walkman function is easy to use and good sound quality. 2gb memory card included is useful. Phone is easy to use and gets a good signal.

- Battery charges very quickly but doesn't last very long, two days at most even with light use. That's a real problem if you can't get to an electricity supply.
The camera funnction is basic. Despite being 3mp it has no zoom or light/flash.

+ In a nutshell its a good phone for the price, i generally find it easy to use, there are a few application that are not in the places i'd expect but thats easy to live with.

- nothing too bad to mention, the key pad is a bit small, but that I can cope with.

+ I think this phone is really good. It has all the features you would expect from it, has a solid battery life, although it takes a beating if you use it as an mp3 player through loudspeaker.
I find the screen to be clear, its easy to make calls and feels durable, unlike many other phones.

- The keys are a bit tiny, for texting is the main negative point, but you get used to it. As mentioned although the battery is really good, better than my old phone, if used as an mp3 on speaker it really drains it quickly.
The only other thing really is the fact that it used an all in one port for connecting to things. i.e the pc, and recharging. They uses different leads though. Id never used this kind of plug before and actually damaged my recharger becuase i couldnt figure out how it plugged in (i had it the wrong way around lol).

+ Easy to use, fast and looks good. I haven't as yet used it for playing music. Very pleased with the phone.

- Very easy to access the internet by mistake by pressing the back key once too often, need to keep checking I haven't connected to Vodafone live by mistake which could cost money, could've been better designed to avoid this. I had read previous reviews regarding this with the phone but didn't take it too seriously! Don't let it put you off but just be aware it can and does happen.
