+ the battery life is really great and I really like the fact that I don't have to push zero to get a space when I am typing messages

+ I ONLY HAVE HAD A BASIC PHONE BEFORE AND i THINK THIS PHONE IS GREAT. I LIKE TO TAKE PHOTOS OF MY GRANDCHILDREN AND THIS PHONES CAMERA IS VERY GOOD.

+ Excellent Battery Life, Good Quality Camera, Easy To Use Menus, Conversation Feature On SMS

- Build quality - dust gets under the screen which I find annoying, keys don't always respond well. Camera seems slow to react although quality is good.

+ Had many Sony phones before so navigation the same, good shots from camera and can now transfer pictures to PC. Use it a MP3 for some trips already works ok got a seperate memory card, internet is standard.Phone has got everything I needed

- The attachments to headphones is very chunky this needs sorting. Not so much the phone but for some reason Tesco mobile send you a balance on pay as you go after every time you use it, this I find irritating, I just want to know when credit is low

+ fab all round phone, excellent if you just want a phone for normal services calls, texts photos etc

- non really for the package i received really cant complain, get what you pay for, being picky perhaps a little manly!!!

+ the camera and video are excellent on this phone especially in camera mode.

- As more music is added this phone has a tendency to slow down mostly when scrolling through menus etc.
This phone has no full game installed only 1 level stage demos, Nokia phones have at least one game installed
Sony Ericsson have taken applications from earlier phone models and dumped them on to c510 . most of the applications are little more than childish and at best useless i.e music dj, video dj and photo d.j. Photo mate is a
wast of memory space as is the tips and tricks application. Most of the wallpapers supplied with the c510 are dull. when text messaging it seems that the number of words you can use before beginning a new message are limited.

+ Camera & picture quality are the features that should sell this phone at this price. Comparing to Nokia 3600 slide, the same resolution of Camera, the pics in the Sony are noticeably superior

- The internal memory is not stupendous.
No cable is provided for the transfer of data from phone to PC.
also no memory card (no matter how small in memory)

- The battery life isn't very good compared to previous phones, but it does last long enough.

+ It's a compact and neat phone which feels good to hold. The battery life is excellent as is the sound for such a small object.

- It's too easy to hit the web browser button and get charged for web access when you don't want it.

+ its a nice cyber shot sony ericsson mobile phone which looks good and has superb features..

- the only thing i can think of is that the keypad is too close together so you accidentally press other keys when texting..so it would not be very good for someone with large hands...also i dont like the conversation option when texting..other than that its a good phone..

+ I like how lightweight and compact it is. It is very easy to use. I like the fact that it's not fancy or gimmicky. It does exactly what it says it does. Simple, easy to use

- camera cover opens to easy, so opens on regular occasions in my pocket.

- Would like to customise all the shortcut keys - I use opera, not built-in browser that vodefone's live button links to Also, would like option to use flash as a torch that was present on previous sony ericsson

+ Easy to use and navigate. Picture quality of the camera is good and face recognition feature etc function well and it has a reasonably large screen whilst remaining light. A good budget option.

- Buttons are tight - ok for me but users with larger digits might struggle. Battery life seems poor and there is a long delay before the shutter operates on the camera which makes it difficult to capture people well.

+ Its small, it does what I want (I probably havn't discovered all its feautres yet!) but playing with the phone I found a short cut to adding the flash to a photo which is instant. (instead of going through the screen menu's and people stop posing for the photo!) It was in a brilliant deal (for me). I am not using the net or listening to music etc so battery life is good

- THE KEY PAD:
I cannot believe that the designers/testers made the top 2 select/option keys "incave" so they are not as easy as the could be to press. Have had the phone about 3 weeks and I don't like how small the keys are and I have small fingers. Its functional but just annoying.

+ For the money this is an excellent phone. I always go for sony ericsson and this phone has not dissapointed. It has all the features you would expect from a sony ericsson plus actual internet with "you tube" and "google maps". When browsing it has a curson like a mouse on the computer. The camera is of good quality and has smile recognition amongst other features so enable great photos to be taken.

- The buttons on the keypad are very small so anyone with chubby fingers might have a problem using them. The internet button is right beside the back button and is easily hit by mistake.
My only other complaint about this phone is that is take quite a few seconds to switch back from camera to "phone". Not really a big deal though!

+ its generally awesome phone because its so simple but has all the requirements without costing a lot

- Main function buttons are all very small and packed together too closely. It is too easy to engage web brouser, which attracts a charge, by mistake. Battery expires much more quickly than on my old phone, probably due to the number of features or size of screen. Early days, but not sure I shall keep this one as long as I did my last phone (5 years!).

+ Sony Ericssons have always had a fab battery life and been my most reliable phone for ten years. The smile shot on this phone is brilliant and its a lovely slim phone.

- Bit unsure about the shutter on the camera, I think with wear and tear this will be the first to break, and sony just seriously need to sort their rebooting issues out.

+ i've used this phone for just a short time and it has been fab! The battery life is good, i used my phone a lot and only had to charge it once in one week. The camera is really good, as it finds the faces for you. I would recomemnd this phone to anyone who just needs a phone that does all the simple things in the best way possible. Thumbs up to this one!!

- Cybershot camera is not as good as it was on the K800, my last phone. Flash is no comparison, and generally slow.

+ Small, easy to use, good functionality. Three/four day battery life. I like small details like being able to track texts between yourself and another by the way of a conversation; also the auto rotate for photo's/videos's is a nice wee function.

- The "Vodafone Live" button is the same as the lock button so too easy to go online accidentally. Would like the option to charge via USB.

+ Purchased phone for my son's birthday. However offered to swap with him as I was so impressed with the features, much better than my K770i, which I thought I was pleased with until I tried the C510, very easy to navigate, the feature I was most impressed with was 'conversations' in the message menu, I want that! Needless to say my son is unwilling to swap!!!

- As my son is using the C510, not myself, I am not aware of any bad points.

+ Very good indeed - everything works easily and as it was promised. A really excellent phone. Extremely good value.

- Haven't really discovered any yet. Perhaps battery life.

+ All v good once flashed to Sony Ericsson firmware

+ I love this phone and I've been very impressed! Good points:
- looks great
- slim
- large, clear screen
- simple to use
- conversation option in messaging
- useful and entertaining features, eg. personally I like the walk mate
- long battery life

- It doesn't have face warp! That was the only disappointing aspect.

+ Maybe I've just been living in the past with my K750i, but this phone is a huge advancement for me and I'm very pleased with it. The cybershot features are particularly good and texting is greatly improved with the Conversation feature: your texts and subsequent replies are kept in one long list so you don't have to flick between inbox and sent items to work out what was said earlier. Snazzy design, good media features, and plenty of internet apps that I'm not really getting the most out of because I don't want to pay extra for 3G

- One major oversight is the lack of a torch feature; on my last phone the camera flash doubled as a handy light. It was a really practical feature and it seems silly to leave it out. Also the keypad buttons are a little on the small side so possibly not one for the chubby fingered. And if I was going to be really picky I would say on the organiser it's not quite as clear which days have appointments on them (they're displayed in bold on the calendar) compared to the K750i, but I pretty much organise my whole life on my phone so if you don't use it then it won't be a big deal.

+ Easy to use, good size screen but its not to big a bulky like of phones onthe market at the moment

- All games that come with it are trial and you need to buy them if you want them, Im not one for games but it can pass a few mins away if you are bored
