+ The camera is brilliant, its tough - i have dropped it a few times and it os still in geat working order.

- The Charger Mirco SD rubber covers are difficult to open if you bite ur nails, have to use object small enough to open it. The inability to be able to change ur message tone/alarms etc

- when opening phone make sure slide correctly up as it somethimes wobble when not opened. Cannot save Tel numbers to sim and tel only 1 or the other

+ It looks great, its really easy to use and its durable. My friend ran over her with a van and its still fine!

- Some of the features are not obvious ie keypad tone. Also you can't assign you own sounds for some features ie messaging.

- battery does not seem to last very long compared to my old samsung d600

+ Small and fits into most bags. Ring is quite loud. Easy to use and follows regular Samsung menus so nothing new to learn. animated text messages are fun and animation when dialiing is cool to look at. Goos internet access and screen size makes reading easier.

- can be difficult to swtich from one make to another as menus and keys differ especialy in text messages.Not good quality on speaker phone. New screen themes not available yet.

+ Small and relatviely easy to use.

- Battery indicaotr is bad, once it's dropped one bar you only have a day left at most! The software is rubbis as it does not sync recurring appointments in Outlook. Becuae of this I will probably go back to using my SonyErricsson.

- The battery life of the phone is not as good as previous samsung phones.

+ The phone is very slim and compact and I also like the larger than normal screen for viewing menus and functions.

- The design by which the slide is opened means that it is difficult to do so without activation some of the funcytion buttons. This is however a minor fault.

+ Its got a good quality camera, which is very useful if you see something nice and just want a quick photo, but without the hassle of carrying round camera in a bag - just an extra thing to get lost. Also, the expandable memory is useful, as you don't need to choose between your favourite songs or pictures.

- The text messaging system could do with a few tweaks - for example, to write on a new line, you need to hold down the # key, press 9 and then ok, which can get confusing. Also, holding down the C key on my old phone would delete each word in turn - on this one it deletes the whole message! Very frustrating if you had alot there!

- The slider function gets in the way of typing on the keypad. I find the navigation system also irritating- it is long winded and akward

+ I wanted a slide phone that is as slim as possible to fit in my top pocket and this model fits very neatly.
The screen is bright and clear and the colours are vivid.

- The major bad points are the lack of custom options. You can change the ring tone , but not the incoming text tone and I have not found an option to change themes or even if that is possible, and any alternatives.

+ I particularly chose this phone because of the clarity of the keys (I am 63!) It is overall a lovely phone and the screen is also easy to see.

- A slight problem putting music onto phone or memory card but easy to overcome.

+ Excellent screen size, very light to carry around with you, battery live is quite long, and the style looks really good.

- Need more standard screen savers, sounds and wallpaper.

- Cannot customise the message alert tone. You have to use a pre set one

+ Good looking, slim, good screen and keys. Excellent real world features. Competitive price for the quality of the item and what you get. Nifty camera.

- Not as intuitive to use as i would like and what can cetainly be achieved by other manufacturers. Battery life a bit on the poor side.

+ Fantastic style, good functionality, great camera, good sound quality. Love the slide functionality for terminating & accepting calls.

- Have to press at least 3 buttons to send off a text to the recipient.

- there is some sign now of the colour wearing off, not sure i would go for this colour again as the black seems better

The camera doesn't seem as quick and easy to use as the d800i.
I am on contract, i didn't buy the phone.

+ Privacy lock for texts, images, videos, contacts - you can choose what you want private. Slim and easy to use. Not the most up to date "sexy" phone, but I had one before and couldn't find another with features to match.

- Need to press a lot of buttons to do simple functions sometimes, such as sending texts. Other than that, good phone.

+ Neat feature filled phone, large, clear bright screen. Music quality is good but not great. Good standbye battery life. Good email, just as if sat at a PC.

- I actually received the 900i which has a radio instead of the document viewer. I think that the document viewer would have been better for me and was disapointed that the viewer could not be added.

- Not working after 2 months cannot charge - apparently very common with this phone ?

+ Slim, light-weight, looks cool, slider, easy to use, records video, records sound, takes photos, MP3 player, FM radio, bluetooth, memory card slot, USB connection to computer, nice visual effects on-screen, currency converter, countdown timer, alarm, stopwatch, calculator, world clock.

- Bluetooth won't work with a TomTom, email won't work, phone won't support some files on memory card even though they are the correct format, you can't use sound stored on the memory card as ringtones directly: you have to copy them to the phone first, doesn't support custom ringtones for text messages or email or MMSs, doesn't have the ability to put an apostrophe in text messages if you like to text in plain English rather than chav speak, loud speaker isn't all that loud.

+ It looks great and has a very good camera. The organizer is pretty good, and the web browser isn't bad

- The software isn't very compatible. I use google mail and the google mail java app causes the phone to crash.

- Only 4 choices of ring tone when receiving messages - unable to apply own ring tones.
Sending messages is very long winded.
Camera slow.
With it being a slide front phone rather than flip front its very easy to accept a call when you are just getting phone out of pocket and cut them off at the same time for same reason.
Sim card impossible to remove from phone.
Can't find an apostrophe in the symbols when sending texts.
Would be better to have numbers immediately after letters when sending texts instead of loads of weird symbols.
Absolutely detest phone... worst purchase ever !!!!!

- My phone needs charging every 2 days despite only having it since April this year. The features seem to be in the wrong place, ie the alarm being in planner but the date and time are in settings. Also the design looks a bit 80s as it very square and the folders text is very plain looking

+ I wanted a good looking, easy to use mobile phone which is exactly what i found with the D900

- Long winded way to select phone number and send text. The VERY worst is not being able to choose your own 'new message' sound. Would not buy another. wish i had not bought this.

- Can't find the apostrophe when texting except by going into symbols - why isn't it on number 1?

+ The phone looks good. Good sound quality on radio and mp3 playback. Easy to navigate menus even if you don't read the instructions. Easy to access functions without going through the menu screen. Easy to adjust volume during phone call.

- Cannot choose a downloadable file for message alert. Memory could be bigger. Cover for the headphone socket is a little flimsy (especially when listening to music and perhaps keeping it in your pocket. Dust collects in the hinges.

+ there's no need to 'lock' the keypad

- not quite so easy to navigate around (compared to my old nokia)

+ It's got just about everything you could want from a mobile and more, including being able to load video clips and films onto a memory card via your computer and watching them back on your phone and impressing your friends.

- Sliding the phone open is a bit hard and scrolling up, down, left and right is a bit fiddly.

- I leave my handset on 24/7 so therefore the battery life needs to be good but the standard battery lacks staying power.

+ I chose this phone because it was compatible with both iSync on my MacBookPro and buetooth on my Land Rover Discovery. Both these links proved easy to set up and work effectively. It does what I want - phone calls, and syncs diary and contacts with my MacBook

- The battery life could be better but this may be a trade off with its lightweight construction which I appreciate. Having used a Palm Treo until I broke it, I miss the qwerty keyboard. It is much easier to key diary and contact entries on my MacBook and iSync them rather than vice versa.

- This is my first slide phone and i wouldnt have another. My other phones have all been flip .Couldnt find suitable replacement

+ Great design, features, looks brilliant.

- Battery life could be better, I am a little dissapointed with how often I need to charge the phone, especially considering how little I actually ise the phone. It would also be beneficial to be able to charge the phone in the car, but I do not know if you can get an in-car charger for this phone. Haven't looked yet.
