Great image for the money. Almost no "rainbows" for a budget DLP projector except on black and white high contrast images (eg. moving white text on black background). The quality and stability of the image is amazing. It may only be 720p resolution, but this was bought to go with a PS3 where the majority of HD games only support up to 720p (with few exceptions which this projector can downscale back to 720p). IMPORTANTLY: I have a projected image larger than a 60" plasma/LCD TV and the projector image is far better, more natural, less stressful on the eyes and handles movement more naturally than any TV I have seen. You only need full HD if you are going to be able to display on a wall at over 84" diagonal, otherwise the pixels cannot even be seen. Given large HD capable TV's are in the £2k area for decent ones, this little beauty betters them even at 720p as the image lacks the bitty-ness of most TVs. This projector is perfect for PS3 and HD display until the Full HD projectors come down in price. Get the setup right and its image is easily better than current HD TVs. NOTE: HD TVs are all going to become rather worthless as OLED screens begin to replace LCD and plasma. This makes a good budget purchase to cater for HD with the added benefit of portability while HD transmissions and Bluray get established. I recommend you buy it, keep it for 3 years at which point you could buy a good full 1080p HD projector for about the same money which will benefit from full 1080p HD home cinema technology maturing as currently it is relatively new.

No horizontal keystone correction. It's a bit picky about "throw" distance. Fan could be slightly quiter but if you have a good size room you will not notice it.

Small and light, plenty of connectivity, more than enough options to configure in the home and great results out of the box without any image adjustments required - it produces an excellent image for the money and I'm more than happy with the results. As with most things you get what you pay for, and in this case you really do get a lot for a little. If you want a decent home projector without breaking the bank then this is a good purchase!
-
Many other reviews reference the level of noise from this unit, but I have to say, while audible, it's not something that bothers me or is even that noticeable - I'm sure there are much quieter units, but practically in my experience the noise from this is not an issue - also, there is a fair amount of light leakage from the unit, but again as I have it ceiling mounted and slightly behind my viewing position it's not something I notice while using it. It may be more obvious if table mounted in front of you though!

image quality is very good once all the settings are customised. I use this mainly for my xbox and it is absolutely fantastic. i watch dvds and football which are very impressive also.
-
Black levels appear a little gray, but this is more than likely my screen as it is home made. i suspect this may be corrected with a decent screen. a perfectionist, who knows alot about projectors may have more complaints but for me, i cant rate it highly enough. the best gadget i own.....its so good, even the wife is impressed.

This is a high spec projector - at a budget price.
I have it set up to produce a 9 feet 6 inch wide picture, and it's just outstanding for watching anything.
Never thought I'd be able to afford an excellant Home Cinema.

After changing from a plasma screen I was really suprised at how good the picture quality is.

In my opinion its great value for money.

Excellent PJ! Amazing value for money. Cheaper than your average 40" LCD/Plasma and you get a screen at least double that size. As for the Quality, just wait till you fire this one up, your jaw will drop at how clear and sharp the image is. Colours are vivid right out the box. Great Stuff!
-
At this price? I can't complain....though some may dislike the noise. To be honest though, when I have a movie or game on, the sound of my 5.1 surround sound kit always drowns out the PJ sound anyway!

I bought this product after breaking my neck, which has involved a very long time staring at the ceiling. It is compact and portable. Set up with my xbox and laptop was simple, and a brilliant, clear ~2m (diagonally, with the projector vertically on the floor) picture has entertained me from my ceiling from the minute it was turned on with very little adjustment. Picture remained good even in a light room, not noticed the fan noise to be a problem. Don't have any other projector experience so little to compare it to but very pleased with the product.

The projector is picky on NTSC colour - seems not all formats supported. Mounting on a ceiling bracket was awkward - due the compact unit size, it was difficult to get a standard 'universal mounting bracket' to match the holes on the machine.

Great picture quality, compact and easy to set up and use. No sign whatsoever of the dreaded 'rainbow effect' Highly recommended.

Great image quality, have used on 84" screen and 150" wall, both excellent quality. Good in medium light conditions. Easy menu operation, and wide range of connectivity options

Considering this is such a small projector, the image size and quality is superb! Easy setup and good controls.

A little noisy when it gets hot as the fan speeds up, but not too bad. Not a very good zoom, so you need to position it pretty well to achieve the desired screen size.

even using the HDMI connector the image is not as good as a slide projector - but then no data projector is!
