- The DV10 gets very hot during use, I'm not sure where to buy a replacement Lamp or how much it would cost me?.

+ excellent connection options, very bright, cheapest way to get a really big high definition screen.

- you need a screen to get the best from it, and there is the normal DLP rainbow effect on fast moving high contrast scenes, if you don`t see this artifact then it is an absolute bargin, if you do then get a LCD projector because it will annoy you! you will also need an upscaling DVD player, high definition source or a mediacentre PC to get the best from it.

+ Apparently very well made. Very quiet. A bit bulkier than some others I have used, but seemed to run cooler; at least, didn't radiate so much heat.

- Obsolete.

+ Lightweight and compact therefore easy to transport if not set up in fixed location - very impressed with quality of picture.

- nothing of any significance to note - aligning can be a bit fiddly but the more you do this the easier it will get.Volume is pretty limited, ok in average 7 mtr sq room but would not suffice for much larger area.

+ Excellent projector for the price if used for viewing DVD`s. Cinema quality picture and good sound if used in the average lounge.

- Seems complicated to connect to other sources . Have not really tried tried so cannot comment on this aspect.

+ We are delighted to have a small machine that can play DVD films in our sitting room. You just plug it in and play. It really is very very simple. We do not have a television and we think this is an excellent alternative.

- It is a little on the heavy side. The fan is a little on the noisy side and does produce a great deal of heat - fine on a cold evening, butnot so good in summer in a small room.

- Definition a bit disappointing, with 8-megapixel photos not quite sharp on the 1.6 m screen.
NO audio or speakers!

+ incredibly low noise, a very silent machine not intrusive at all in the home, and perfect in a medium size room with an audience of about 40 where I recently gave a presentation. Remote control selection of 16:9 and 4:3 at a touch with instant response makes viewing of mixed format media easy.

- none really. If I have to search for a negative it is the action of the projector in searching for a new signal when I am using a laptop on a slide show at the same time as a dvd player is on stand-by, so sometime my screen goes blue depending on the size or orientation of the laptop slide. Trivial really.
