+ The camera has a host of easy to use features which make it able to be a fantastic point and shoot whilst having the capability of being a supreme champion of a photographers rubic cube - able to enhance the end result and also to channel its energies at creating diverse portfolios.
- I just cant put it down, its taking over my life as I attempt to photograph anything that moves and many things that dont

+
Very light
Excellent picture quality both megapixel and optically
Very straight-forward menu navigation
Large LCD screen
Dust reduction
Very ideal for beginners but has enough potential to last up to a semi-pro standard!
Fantastic camera for the price it was sold at.
-
Auto-focus can hunt sometimes
No image stabilisation although this would mean a higher price
Positioning of neck strap lugs on the camera is not ideal as my finger rests on top of it!
Only 3-point metering - but again this would mean a higher price

The tiny size of this SLR with the standard lens makes it the perfect traveling companion, it feels very well made, especially considering the price, it's also great not having to worry about dust as the anti dust feature on this SLR really works, (unlike the anti dust feature on my Canon DSLR).
It is very easy use, I tend to use it in aperture priority mode, but it does have a lot of picture style modes, if you are new to photography you may find them very handy.
I think it is an excellent lightweight compliment to a more bulky SLR system, and an great upgrade to a compact, as it has a much larger sensor and therefore has better dynamic range and lower noise.
- The viewfinder is small, it is not particularly fast, so unsuitable for sports photography. These limitations have to be weighed against the small size, the compromise might not be suitable choice for everyone.

+ Good lightweight compact camera. For me, its intended use is general photography as well as astronomical applications.
- None, though it will take time for me to become proficient with all its facilities.
purchased 05 Sep 2007
+ Light, adaptable, useful lens adjustment, easy to focus.
- Didn't come with a memory card.
purchased 09 Sep 2007
+ great photographs, easy to use but you do need to look at the manual for more complex options
- sometimes can be tempermental, and won't take photographs when you want it to.
purchased 02 Oct 2007
+ Lightweight, accurate, easy to use.
- Why oh why, is the screen still unprotected? It is so easy to grip the item and damage the screen with your thumb - as I once did. And it took no pressure at all.
