Gary, NEWMILNS , “Only use flash gear”

+ Having used the previous XDA Orbit, and loved it, I like this new one even better. It is easy to use and I am finding the Transcriber input option seems to be so much more accurate than the previous version, that this is how I now input data. The TouchFLO interface is a great addition allowing easy access to your music, photos and videos, as well as nine telephone contacts, Radio, Alarm etc etc. The unit also shipped with CoPilot 7, again an improvement on the previous version. All in all a great little unit that keeps my business, and my personal lives sorted.

- The only thing that really gets up my humph is the time it takes for CoPilot to load. It first goes through an update process, everytime I use it, and then seems to hang about for 'ages' before actually opening the CoPilot window. Music sounds good on headphones - don't like the standard ones, they hurt my ears due to their size - acceptable on the internal speaker, however I have connected to in-car tape convertor unit thingy and can't get a great deal of volume - maybe just me ???

+ Runs Microsoft Mobile: ease of synchronisation, compatibility with typical office-based software, email push is easy to set up.

- Runs Microsoft Mobile: occasional crashes, not as steady as it should be, needs soft resets now and then.

+ Much more stable that its predecessor and memory expansion slot is now accessible. Good outlook integration and reasonably good web access when used with Opera mobile.

- The touch driven capabilities are an afterthough and not as good as an iPhone.
