- Glossy finish means that it gets dirty fairly quickly. Phone restarts sometimes when listening to music. Headphones are not comfortable.

+ The phone is easy to use with all the lastest features.

- The sound on this phone is not as loud as other Nokias. sometimes the phone freezes slightly andcan be quite slow exiting and entering applications.

- phone constantly freezes, batterie usually dies after a day, applications need to be constantly closed or the phone runs even slower. all in all im disappointed to be stuck with this phone.

- Battery life, poor build quality - when pressing buttons it squeaks due to the plastic on the back which is really annoying and puts me off the phone.

+ I got this phone to listen to music and audio books as I spend a lot of time for work alone driving and I have to say its brilliant. The amount of storage is fantastic and a few minor quibbles regarding synchronisation with media player 11 apart (now solved) I have no real complaints. I've watched entire movies on the phone screen and played them on a tv (with the supplied cable) at what I can only describe as superb quality. Having had a touch screen phone before this I can honestly say that its easier to use to (why anyone gets an iphone I'll never know)

- The battery! But thats again a minor issue as supplied in the box is a wall and car charger so its not a major major issue. I've had some issues with synchronising but I suspect thats more to do with vista and WMP11 than the phone and a few minor tweaks and all was well. The only other bad point is the number of people who want to play with it!

+ To be frank, there aren't many. Ease of synchronisation was about it. Oh, and the screen size.

- Where do I begin? The software is very poor, the phone keeps freezing, call handling is clunky, camera (although 5 mega pixels) is not good. I previously had a Sony Ericcson k800i. The Nokia 96 does not even come close.

+ Good sound quality and features for listening to music.

- Freezes, slows down and takes a long time to perform the simplest tasks like opening a message.

+ looks nice, cameras are ok, plenty of storage space for photos and video, it does for my needs

- its a bit brick like, feels a bit creaky, sometimes a little slow to connect to my wireless even when sat right beside the router, battery life is a little short sometimes if I forget to charge it up every day.

+ well the phone speaks for it self the design the features.this is the best phone out there now

+ Excellent video playback, packed with too many features to list here. I think I'll still be learning new things that this phone can do when it comes to upgrade time.

- The battery life is dire. Zoom function on the camera isn't fantastic. The auto screen orientation function can screw up sometimes and can't tell up from down.

+ This is a typical quality Nokia product, they have stuck with what works and refined on what was already a good phone the N95!

- Battery life really needs addressing, I have several smart phones and the battery life on them far exceeds the Nokia! its a shame Nokia didnt go with touchscreen this time, but i guess they need to get it right so hopefully we will see it in the future N97 :o)

+ the overall design of the phone is good and the camera and video quality is amazing as is the music facility

- the battery life is one of the down sides and i was unable to bluetooth music from another nokia phone which was a bit of a dissapointment.

+ memory on this phone is an impressive 16gb and with a memory card expandable to 32gb+.The screen is vibrant and the programmes/applications are easy to navigate...
Great sound quality and volume from the 2 built in speakers and the 5 megapixel camera rivals that of the 8 megapixel tocco ultra edition.
This phone is a great step towards nokia's future concepts.

- The software can be slow to start up and the applications need to be exited completely or they will still be running in there standby mode draining the battery life considerably.
The zoom function on the camera could do with being a little quicker to start.If nokia took the amoled technology combined it with nano technology and made a full touch screen phone which still met the futures needs then they would be onto a winner.

+ Looks good, largish screen, web browsing is good, wi-fi connectivity, able to load wide range of applications onto it, camera is good too.

- Battery life isn't great. The keypad is poorly designed, a bit tricky to press the top 3 keys on the number pad as the screen part of the phone slightly covers them, also would be better if keys were on individual buttons rather than being in rows. Phone is also a bit slow at times going between menu options.

- slow, freezes all the time, battery life is terrible, cant have more than 1 application open at once without something taking over a minute to load

- The movie player software is poor. If you search (cue forward) a movie it freezes.
Also the screen illumination fails all the time - you have to turn off then on again to activate the backlite.

- Very difficult to find functions and help option is not very clear. For instance I stll cannot find the battery life indicator or battery curent power meter to keep it charged. Ths s one xample. Browsing and downloading stuff seems impossible. Still culdn't download a skype.

- DVB-H doesn't work (yet - if ever) in UK. Battery life is horrible if you use wi-fi, web, & make calls!!!!1 Mines never far from a charger! If I bend down with it in my pocket it shuts down all open apps (also happens if you push the bottom of the screen when slider open). Podcast utility doesn't remember last played point.

- I can only say whats bad it is now coming up on 4 weeks and I recieved my second phone and it has the same softwre faults it would appear. I have yet to go on line and try to upgrade it. I have already made several phone calls and expressed my disapointment

+ Great phone, I've read some reports about the phone seizing up and needing the battery taking out. That only happens if you don't close the applications that you've been using, if you press and hold the bottom left hand button the phone will tell you which application is open and give you the option to close it. The phone is easy to use and has great features. I have used all of them and have found no faults with any of them.

- The battery life could be better but if you remember to close your open applications and you turn the phone off at night (why do you want it on if you're asleep?) you can get a good three days of use between charges, if you use the video and music apps heavily it will drain your battery quicker but what do you expect? For a phone that offers so much scope this is only a monir problem.

+ The product is up to date with current technology and is very user friendly compared to previous NSeries Phones it also has applications in it for almost anything which is a good feature when a person is away from home or abroad.

- The phone is a bit slow due to the fact that it has so many applications on it and often takes time to respond to commands.

+ The camera takes good quality pictures and videos, the memory capacity is obviously huge, the operating system is easy to navigate, the sound quality is reasonably good, and it looks good too!

- The phone does very occasionaly freeze up for a second or two when moving between applications - I don't think this problem is as pronounced as many reviews make it out to be. The battery life seems a little short

- Phone often freezes, the only way out is to remove battery. only half the memory is used so it would probably happen far more often if memory was full.

- its not what its made out to be, alot of the functions dont work properly. music is hard to download. you cant have a music track as your ringtone. the battery is a disgrace you need to charge it everyday. the screen freezes alot and the applications also freeze. poor effort nokia!!!

+ I cannot say anything good about this product. It has given me problems since the day I received it.

- 1. The product switches itself off in the middle of conversation.
2. The product freezes so many times.
3. The keys do not respond to commands when pressed
4. In fact, it is a very bad product and I am not sure if it is a softwared fault.
5. I have not been able to use the product, Always kept in the draw

+ brilliant all round phone, looks good as it is not as chunky as the 95, i love this phone it does everything that i need it to do, good camera and video on it as well, email is a bit tricky to set up but once it is done its ok.

- carnt really say that i found any bad points with it!! would recomend it to anyone, once you have got one you dont want another phone
