+ another good quality phone from probably the best phone makers. light, compact, good battery life and loads of memory

- ringtones, I'm a fan of just a 'ring ring' tone but this doesn't have one so I have had to settle with a tune.

+ The keypad is excellent for texting, your fingers just glide over it, sleek design, can input notes to do that day that appear on first screen as a reminder.

- The camera is awful and pictures are very grainy, the battery only lasts just over a day, especially if the phone has been used.

+ Very stylish phone with all the features you are likely to need (for a phone). It has a good weight, is solidly built yet small and compact. Long battery life. I love the blue flashing lights on the side when you miss a call/text. Great Nokia interface as always. Good mp3 player and with a 2gb memory card it should keep me going a while.

- A better selection of ringtones would be nice (but these are easily downloadable). Not the best phone for internet browsing (in fact it is painful!) but as I use a computer to surf the internet, this is perfect.

+ I'm biased as I already have a 6300 for work and a full car kit, hence wanting the same phone for private use. The phone is easy to use and the predictive text is that good that I now use this feature. I also like the built in radio as I work away from home often and so many hotels do not have radio facilities in their rooms. The camera is good, but I must say that I use phones for talking and texting, a proper camara for taking photos and still have a HiFi for listening to music.

- The only grip that I have about this phone is the need to use a non standard star key to change the front facsia, which made personalising the phone a little expensive.

+ Great little phone. Does almost exactly what it says on the tin. Very pleased with how easy it is to use and the features (such as camera and organiser) are of a high standard.

- Despite being two years newer than my old phone the battery on this one does not last as long! However, that could be due to the higher number of features on this phone and the fact that I am already addicted to playing games on it! I also have a habit of flicking through my photo and video files when I'm bored so maybe I'm being unfair/unrealistic in expecting any more out of the battery.

+ It's a good overall package! There is no 1 really good thing but together they make a good package. I have this phone for my teenage daughter, it allows her to do what she wants but doesn't have all the other packages on it that could mean she'd rack up a large monthly bill. Perfect for her.

I constantly feel it might run out of battery and I will be left without it. When you use your phone for relaying important work messages and to stay in touch with family, the pressure of it not working is quite concerning to me.

+ stylish phone - appears to be robust. Usual ease of use expected from Nokia. Easy sync weith Outlook on my PC.

+ The phone has all the necessary features required, though the camera could do with a flash. Importantly for me it is a "grown up" phone.

- The 2.5mm, 4 pole audio socket is an unnecessary nuisance. I have yet to find a simple way of playing music through my preferred headphones

- Navigation keys awkward. Battery drains very quickly, constantly recharging

+ Love the keys - I've just had a Sony and the keys were so small and and they all broke so this feels like silk in comparison. I also like the fact that when you're sending a text you can cancel back to the main screen while it's sending reall easily.

- I suppose the only thing I don't like which is why my last phone was a slider, is the fact you can still dial 999 when on lock... and when it's roaming in my bag - there are occasions when I've almost rang the emergency services. Other than that, I love it!!!

- There is insuffiucient memory on the phone to take any photos or store many texts

+ I really needed a new Nokia, my last one had really given up. My daughter says no one over 25 should be let loose on a mobile, but this Nokia 6300 is fab for me. I really enjoy taking and receiviing photos on it and have figured out how to send emails. No comments from my daughter either other than admiring ones, she may even get one herself.....
