+ lots of features,easy to use

- battery life not brilliant but i have been using the features a lot

+ The best thing about this phone is its ease of use and its appearance- simple but stylish. Nokia has continued to use its straightforward menu base which has always been a strong feature.

- Unfortunately the bad points outweigh the good. This phone has appalling sound quality- please take me word for it!! I exchanged the handset believing there was a fault with the sound quality only to find the same problem with my replacement handset.
You can hardly hear the other person on the line and i ALWAYS had to ask people to call me on my other number as I was having too much difficulty in hearing them. The camera quality isnt great but then aain its not the seeling point of the phone. Its no wonder the price of this phone has fallen dramatically within such a short space of time!! It looks pleasant but doesnt function very well at all.

+ Battery life is brilliant, one of my main reasons for buying this particular phone.
The case is mostly a nice hard-wearing metal, not just lots of plastic like many phones.
It's a nice slim and quite light phone with a quite good sized screen too and nothing to really break unlike flip/slide phones.
Has a memory card slot for storing extra music unlike the slightly newer/slimmer 6500.

- Camera is noisy, it's probably the same as many other in-phone cameras but it's not really suitable as a replacement for even a lower-end digital camera.
Headphone jack is 2.5mm, not 3.5 like most headphones, meaning you have to use the headphones that come with the phone or an adapter. The headphones also act like an aerial for the radio and so you might not be able to use the FM radio function with other headphones.

- I had been using a Nokia 6310i for several years and I was very upset when I dropped it in water. I decided to go for another Nokia - in this case the decision was bad. The keypad is too small and the navigation button difficult to control, when I am navigating back through text I often find it sends a half written message which is very irritating. I use my phone mostly for text and it seems to need re-charging every couple of days. I don't think this is one of Nokia's successful phones and would not recommend it to anyone.

- Dose not go to automatic keyguard when you are in a menu. No why of turning of music when you are not on the media player menu.

- The keys are very small and pooorly marked. They have blue lit characters on them which are very difficult to read for people who need reading glasses. I have reverted to my Nokia 3110c which has all the same features, but has easier-to-read keys and a longer battery life, and is half the price.

+ stylish and easy to use connects to me pc too so i can type txts etc. on my pc keyboard much easier than on a small handset
