- the voicemail is awful... you should not have to dial 901 to see if you have been left a voicemail, why have the voicemail icon on the phone when it doesn't work? that is a really bad fault i think and the battery life is poor too.

+ Very easy to use and easy to text on, has lots of useful features, very small and slim so fits in all your hand bags!

- Tends to scratch easily, has a worse signal than other nokia's i've had, the camera isn't very good.

+ Looks good, slim, hard wearing. If you want a mobile that will do almost everything then this mobile isnt for you. I wanted a simple mobile that I could listen to music on sometimesand take a few photos. This is perfect for that, does exactly what a phone should do, takes and makes calls with the added features of texting and being able to put some music on. The camera is good too.

- Sometimes when texting your finger hits the button next to the one you want as well as the one you are on.(buttons too close together maybe as I have small fingers)

+ A very nice looking phone, small and slim. Has a good sized screen. I am used to Nokia phones, so most things are where I expect them to be.

- I found navigation a little tricky at first - this is a slightly more sophisticated model than I have been used to, but it's getting more familiar.
It's a PAYG phone, which I use mainly for text messaging and very occasional calls, and it suits my purpose perfectly, but I use it infrequently. I'm not sure the battery life would prove adequate for someone using it regularly to listen to music etc.

+ It's easy to use, has a good camera for such a compact phone, clear screen and nice a slim.

- Battery jumps quickly from fully charged to needing charging, it's not that it doesn't stay charged for long more that the battery display seems eratic. Not always to easy to hear people when talking on it. Had a few issues with the blue tooth.

+ The navigation and keypad are really easy to use and the phone looks good. I mainly use my phone for text messaging and I haven't had any problems with it like I have done before using other phones. If you accidentally press the red button it saves your message and it's also easy to organize messages into drafts, saved messages etc. Plus there's loads of space, I've got a lot of messages in my inbox and sent items and haven't had to delete any whereas with other phones I haven't been able to save my sent messages due to lack of space.

- The battery life is pretty poor, especially if you like to leave your phone on all the time like I do. It's not too bad if you just use it for texting but if you make or receive a long call or use the camera for a long period of time it really drains the battery so you have to make sure you always have your charger on you.

- menu changed from nokia 6230i ,, and where is the golf game!!!!! it kept me amused on long jouneys on the train !

+ Looks good, is small and compact with many features and a free phone kit.

- I found it virtually impossible to navigate the menus accurately. The phone kit came with no instructions, although it worked, it made a high pitched buzz for both caller and receiver which was intolerable. I have put the sim card in an older Nokia phone, and returned to my old car kit.

+ I bought this phone for my mum because it was a new design with a reasonable quality camera, however has Nokia's well laid out and easy to use features and menu's. Its very slim with a large screen, so you get the best of both worlds. My mum was extremely pleased with it and has grown used to using it very quickly.

- Nokia appear to have changed the layout of text messages whereby you now put the contact number in first then compose the message. My mum has found by doing this, if she pressed the send button by mistake when composing her message, it would send half finished. We feel the old way of putting the contact in after the message has been composed would work better

- The menu is not user friendly. It takes ages to navigate to different features. Also, although the phone looks great the shiny silver case makes it very slippery and I have almost dropped it on a number of occasions. I don't like to take a photo then have to go to the gallery to see it.
