Nokia 6233 Candy Bar 3G mobile phone handset reviews and tariffs

+ The screen layout is good particularily for texting.
The standard-ish menu structure f nokia phones makes it easy to upgrade to new phones wiithout having to re-learn you way through the features and menus.

- It is slightly larger than some other Nokia phones I have had.

+ It is compact, useable in the same way that all Nokia's are. Camera is fine for a phone. It has a big memory to store sent and received text messages and photos.

- Text functionality is worse than previous nokia versions.

+ I'm really happy with this phone, I'm able to do what I want to do with it. I make huge use of the calendar and reminders.

- Don't think I've come across them yet!

+ Ease of use.

- next to impossible to read figures/letters on the keypad. My previous Nokia was much easier

+ I can make telephone calls and receive text messages - end of it!!!! It's a phone after all and that is all I want!!!

- The keypad on the silver version is very hard to read in daylight and it is also very slippery

+ I have found it useful for watching video podcasts on the train. An unexpected bonus.

- Menu navigation is not great

+ The screen is nice and easy to read.
Nice size and clear speaking tone.

- Buttons are small and letters not all that clear. They could be more clearly defined. Battery does not hold its charge as well as on previous handset.

+ Sleek, most of funsctionality is straightforward.

- Only 1 game: Sodoku - naff
Keypad is a bit clumsy for texting.

+ nice predictive text for emails - like the foreign lang option as i write in french english and spanish!

- cut out and died a couple of times - locked out for a couple of minutes for no apparent reason

- battery life of my phone is bad

- Different charger from last noia mobile that I had. Battery life is poor even if you don't use it much!

+ I like the fact that it is "solid" and not flimsy. It is more of a man's phone, but it perhaps more so in black. I would market it as being solid, dependable and a no nonsense phone for no nonsense people.

- No bad points unless you wanted something lighter etc, in which case it would not be solid and dependable etc.

+ I cannot fault this phone it is the best nokia I have had, and I have had a few, it is indestructible.

- i couldnt find any bad points with this phone

+ Looks nice, easy to use, made by Nokia so you know what to expect. It holds loads of text messages.

- Compared to previous Nokia phones the text msg facilitiy is rubbish because you have to keep scrolling backwards and forwards to actually read the txt before the light goes out! Also it dosen't synchronize well with my pc compared to previous Nokia phones. The texts do not display the date and time, you have to actually go in the menu and its right in the middle of all the options!!

+ Solid, dependable and easy to use, with all the features I require.

- If I was being fussy, then I would say it is a little on the heavy side and more suited to men than ladies.
