+ Good size screen, really clear, lots of extra features. Got me through driving on holiday in Italy even in the cities so gets a big thumbs up from me.
- Touch sensitive area is slightly to the left of the button image so sometimes takes a few attempts to "press" a button.
purchased 06 May 2009
+ Easy to use and accurate. Much better than the previous one I have used.
- None experienced to date.

+ Familiar with Navman, had one before. Intuitive to use and fixing to screen is good.
- Not sure if screen is as easy to see in bright sunlight as icn 530. Cant spot any mapping improvements either yet. Protective case is not as good but for the price it is very good value.

+ Very well designed and superb value! The Bluetooth feature was an unexpected bonus, too.
- None.

- I really could do with a much more comprehensive booklet explaining its use
purchased 24 Mar 2009
+ Easy to use, bluetooth really useful
- None really so far, apart from when type in postcodes, sometimes it doesn't come up with the letter you press on the screen

+ The navmam 70d is the best of the satnav s i have had previously i have had fixed sat nav that were very expensive but the navman is every bit as good
- The only problem i have found is that it doesnt tell you which lane to get in on the motor ways and it also is slow in telling you when you have gone wrong

A great piece of kit - and a real bargain when I purchased it. My Son was also very impressed.. ( He's 29 )
It's packed with information. I would thoroughly reccomend it. Great desighn and a good size.
- Once you are familiar with the workings - no prob. I did find it a little difficult in starting up the first time. Perhaps instructions could be a little better
purchased 04 May 2009
+ most of the time extremely accurate, fast route changes and accurate speed cameras
- sometimes item can get a little confused and takes a few moments to readjust.
purchased 06 Apr 2009
+ Clear screen with good structure of (hidden) menus. Bluetooth a bonus

+ It has all the spec you need.
- Ihave not found any yet.
purchased 19 May 2009
+ simple enough to use. easy to undersatand instructions. good size icons and adjustable volume for car noise.
- Not as up to date as expected. European maps out of date by at least 2 years. Motorways had been built and the satnav took us along the old roads.
purchased 21 Apr 2009
+ Screen and price
- Very slow finding satellites on start up.Slow at up dating route if you detour, still telling you to do a "U" turn when the obvious route is to carry on and rejoin a few hundred yards further on. Map at least 5 years out of date for my local area..Very easy to accidentally reset and loose all your inputs.
purchased 14 May 2009
+ Good value. Very accurate. S/w could be more user friendly, but once you use it a few times, its easy enough.
- S/w could be easier to use, ie easier to navigate around the s/w
purchased 11 May 2009
+ A well featured sat-nav unit for the money.
- Not as user friendly as the TomTom's which have much easier menus.
purchased 11 May 2009
+ Nice large screen. Easy to use.
- Was hoping that I would be able to send photo's to it from my phone using bluetooth and then attach that photo to a certain location - like Nav pics. Unfortunately this cannot be done. Shame.

+ it is a good value for money it help me to get easy anywhere.
- i think the divise has not been up date at all to be use in England it got some mistake. and the hands free is no clear audio at all.

+ I bought the Navman S70 for a European motoring holiday, so I could find my hotel from the airport, plus local info like restaurants, sightseeing etc. It quickly adjusted to Italy, and found our hotel, albeit by a twisty, mountainous route, rather than using major roads - just because it was 1km shorter! Very easy to use, and it would rapidly re-calculate the route if I took a wrong turning. Very clear and easy to read, even in bright sunshine. Good value for money. Recommended.
- Sometimes takes a tortuous route - just for the fun of it. Not enough warning of speed cameras, although I may have not used the full adjustment available. It was my first use, after all, and in a foreign country. Because the city maps are not up to date, it didn't know my hotel was on a one-way street. Always make sure the power connection (cigar lighter socket) is fully home, otherwise you are left with a flat battery. I bought a mains-powered adaptor from a supermarket (12 euros), and charged the battery in 1.5 hours.
purchased 30 May 2009
+ extremely easy to use, synchronised with my phone perfectly and call quality is good
- maps out of date, constantly sending me down one way roads

- good size; good design. Quick to get a location.
- good value for money.
-
- Occasionally chooses slightly longer routes
- Takes a bit of time to understand the menu system
purchased 02 Jun 2009
+ Ease to use and size of screen
- Maps of some towns are well out of date and for a new product is not very good. Some addresses should be up to date as the roads are about 40 years old!!!!
purchased 02 Jun 2009
+ Very easy to install, set up and use.
- Very short battery life after charging up.
purchased 02 Jun 2009
+ Looks great, easy to use, clear maps, amazing value for money.
- Still sometimes takes a long time to get sats. Not sure how current the maps are, Went to a friends house that was built over two years ago and the street was not on the system...
purchased 02 Jun 2009
+ This was a present so my knowledge is limited. But this was the product that my Husband wanted and he is very pleased with it. This was the first time I had shopped with CD Discount and I would definitely shop with them again

+ Large screen
- Reflection on screen
purchased 06 Jun 2009
+ very easy to understand and use
- maps are 2007, they should be of the same year of purchase!
purchased 05 Jun 2009
+ Clear screen, accurate directions and easy to use. Bluetooth headset a bonus.
- Bluetooth doesn't always connect. The unit can be fiddly to connect to the mount, particularly when the power cable is connected.
purchased 09 Jun 2009
+ Easy to use, very clear screen, seems able to store masses of addresses and a comfortable size to handle (not to small like some where you could easily drop them).
- This may be a problem with all sat navs but I found when being told for example "turn left in 400 yards", I had to slow down or I would find I had overshot the turning and the navman would show 100 yards still to go rather than 0 yards. Once used to this though it was fine.
purchased 06 May 2009
+ Its design - overall very good. excellent value for money.
- The linning up of the connection when attached to the satnav holder.
purchased 17 Jun 2009
+ Very clear and simple to use
-
Had to use the instructions a cou[ple of times to find out how to do some things.
Does not like conecting to my cell phone.
purchased 19 Jun 2009
+ Large Screen; Uk,Roi, Europe maps,: touch Screen; POI feature
- poor battery life
purchased 19 Jun 2009
+
Large, clear screen that can be viewed in 2D or 3D.
Nice product with European maps and bluetooth.
-
The contacts list does not appear to sync with a Blackberry, although the Sat Nav still takes and receives calls ok via bluetooth.
The soft case supplied protects the product from scratches but a more solid version would help to protect the screen when it is not in use.
Would have prefered the on screen 'accept' and 'reject' icons to have been a lot bigger when taking calls - the small icons could distract the driver when trying to locate these.
purchased 26 Jun 2009
+ Nice clear display, lightweight.
- Major bad point - the S70 3D takes far too long to find the current position from switch on, up to 5 or 6 minutes and sometimes more (works OK when it eventually finds the current position). Minor bad point, no 240v mains charge unit supplied.
purchased 13 Jun 2009
+ Gets you to where you want to go easy to operate.

Cheap
Big screen

Speaker is poor. When setting speaker high enough to hear it distorts the sound.
The On/Off/Reset switch is ridiculous. When switching off it's too easy to go another click and then it resets deleting all previous favourites.
The speed camera sound and the above set speed sound are very similar, easily confused. Cannot customize sounds.
Mapping data does not know speed limit of roads. TomTom map data does.
I sent keyboard to QWERTY layout. Sometimes it uses it, sometimes it goes back to ABCDEF layout.
I want the distance to DTG/ETE/ETA displayed all the time. It is always switching this off so I have to enable it again.
Battery life when not connected to power poor.
I tried connecting to my phone to use as handsfree via bluetooth. Device repeatedly crashed.
I had a TomTom basic model previously. This is cheaper, but far inferior. I would rather have my TomTom again.
